FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK FORTY-THREE
HEIRS

Greetings dear and precious saints of the only Living God and welcome back to this teaching From the Prophets Chamber. Please take a moment before proceeding to share these teachings as widely as possible. I am continuing to write about nuggets, seemingly small ideas, from the Throne. Let me assure everyone reading this today that there is no such thing as a small idea from the Throne of God. Let’s start our discussion of being an heir with the following Scripture and go from there.
Hebrews 1:1-3 (KJV)
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
By the finished work of Calvary Jesus, the Son (capital s) is heir of all. Remember still means everything, all, nothing excluded. We are in Christ Jesus and therefore heirs of all. Wow! Do we believe it, are we acting upon it? Or, perhaps all of this is for the sweet bye and bye. As a little bit of a sidebar, I want to point out in verse three that it says Jesus is upholding all things not controlling all things. All of the physical and spiritual laws He has put in place, both positive and negative, are being upheld justly by Christ Jesus. Now back to the Truth that we are heirs of all in Christ Jesus. This is all spiritual and all natural things. In Christ Jesus we are sons of God.
Galatians 4:4-7 (KJV)
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
What an honor, what a privilege that we should be sons and heirs through Christ. The Scripture describes us as being joint-heirs with Christ who is heir of all.
Romans 8:16-17 (KJV)
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
We generally understand that as an heir we receive a certain percent of the estate. This is not at all what being a joint-heir conveys. Each joint-heir receives 100% of the assets or the inheritance. This is a concept that is incomprehensible to the natural mind. But in the Kingdom of God nothing is finite. This idea first appears, you guessed it, in the beginning.
Genesis 14:18-22 (KJV)
18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
Notice in verse nineteen that Abram is identified as possessor of heaven and earth and in verse twenty-two God is identified as possessor of heaven and earth. So, who is possessor of heaven and earth? They both are with no difference between them! Abram and “the most high God” were joint-heirs. This passage is also the first time we see the Communion Table.
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
