A WELL OF TRUTH
WISDOM FROM THE BOOK – PART TWO

Greetings dear and precious Blood bought saints of God and welcome back to A WELL OF TRUTH. We are so blessed to serve a God, in fact the only God offering eternal life and prosperity of every kind here and hereafter, who shows us our path with Him clearly. Before moving forward please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the gospel, the Truth. Thank you for sharing, you have a vital role in this Ministry. Prepare to receive, prove, believe, doubt not, and implement the Word the Lord is having me deliver today. We will be continuing to explore a very small portion of one of the Wisdom Book of Ecclesiastes. So, now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today and continue reading out loud.
Ecclesiastes 10:4-8 (KJV)
4 If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
Last week we examined verse four and started to delve into verses five, six, and seven. These are Truths seemingly lost or ignored for various reasons, perhaps contradicting the American mindset (attitude). We saw that yielding to authority can mend, cure even great offenses. The one caveat I would be sure we all understand is that the ruler is not wanting us to violate the moral laws of our God. Think of the Bible examples when the people of God went against the rulers but always in a respectful way. Think about Moses’ parents, Daniel, the Hebrew children, and Peter and John. Listen to the words of Daniel after he was thrown in the lion’s den.
Daniel 6:19-21 (KJV)
19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.
20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
Is this our thoughts and response? Is this our response to their face but it is not our heart? Can we change our heart (thought life and emotional response)? Certainly, we change it by meditating the Word of God (Romans 12:2). Please read and listen to the following announcement.

Now let’s bring our focus our attention to the next three verses of our primary Ecclesiastes text.
Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 (KJV)
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
Notice that evil and an error are one and the same thing. We don’t tend to recognize that an error in our beliefs is a deviation from God’s Word to other words which is evil, it is wickedness. Also notice that these errors, evils, originate with the rulers. These rulers can be governmental rulers who may bring to pass unrighteous laws. The responsibility for this rests with us, the Church, the body of Christ. We are the ones with all authority in the earth. We either don’t know it, don’t believe it, are too focused on the carnal all due to poor spiritual leadership. These evils, these errors should never occur in government if our spiritual rulers are training us in the Truth.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
