FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK NINETY-FOUR
RECALLING THEIR SIN

Greeting dear and precious saints of God, my brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of God, and welcome back to our Saturday teachings titled FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER, this week dealing with “Recalling Their Sin”. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible using every possible means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. I have not mentioned it in awhile but please read these teachings out loud.
Did you notice the title “Recalling their sin”? When you hear of someone, think of someone, or see someone what is the first thing that comes into your thinking? All to often it is their sin either present but commonly past. Sometimes we do not even know if that sin is even the truth. In other words, we are not first-hand witness but heard it from someone, who also may not have been a firsthand witness. Even if we are a first-hand witness should that be our first thought? Do we enjoy hearing our past repented of sins recounted? This closely associated with gossip or in fact is gossip. This has come into my thinking more prominently lately for I want nothing to do with gossip, period. It is very common to hear the phrase “did you hear” followed by something, frequently negative, about a person. At best this is third hand information. Should we be listening to this? You may have heard phrases like this “oh yeah, he/she is a drinker” or “oh yeah, he/she has mental problems or “oh yeah, he/she cheated on their husband” and the list goes on and on. Do we know any of this first hand? Let’s say that this person is now a brother or sister in the Church, do we know if they have repented? Even if they are unsaved do we know if they have made that situation right?
Revelation 12:10 (KJV)
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Do you or I want to join forces with Satan and be an accuser of the brethren? As I was meditating and reading about the life of David, the King and giant killer, it occurred to me that once David repented when the Prophet Nathan came to him, God never mentions his sin (Bathsheba and Uriah) again. If God does not mention it, what are we doing mentioning it.
Acts 13:21-22 (KJV)
21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. (Bold added)
Are you and I men and women after Gods’ own heart, meaning we think like He thinks, we talk like He talks, and do like He does? Scripture tells us that once we are forgiven God does not remember them.
Psalm 103:12 (KJV)
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Isaiah 38:17 (KJV)
17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
Isaiah 43:25 (KJV)
25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Micah 7:19 (KJV)
19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Do we remember the sin and think first of it then let that color, distort, the remainder of our thoughts about them? If that person is born again this is what our Heavenly Father says about them, what about us.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Even if they are not saved our God sees them as precious and wants them with all His heart in the Kingdom no matter what they have done. Brothers and sisters this is not easy but I for one will have no part in gossip or seeing any person different than our Heavenly Father sees them.
Lord willing, I will return in a week with fresh insights from the Throne itself.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
