Greetings dear saints of God, and others, and welcome back to A Well of Truth. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing, you are a vital part of this Ministry and the Kingdom of God. This week I am teaching about the power of words. There seems to be a great deal of confusion about our authority and the power of words in our mouth so I will once again teach in this area. None of this is my idea, it is all Gods’ ideas, laws He placed in the earth by which we live whether we realize it or not. It all started in the Garden.
Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
So, right from the get go man was given the authority that once resided with God over all the earth and the Power (blessing) to bring all of the Eden Mandate to pass. We are made in the image and likeness of God, which is to say we are to look like God and act like God. Afterall we are of like kind! We are not animals or something different from God like angels. We then have the creation account and this is exactly how we are to operate in the earth. Don’t get in a tither that I’m saying we can create independent of God, but I am saying that as we speak in line with the will of God (like Jesus) His power flows. God does not work independent of man in the earth at this present time. Look at any account you want in Scripture and you will find at least one person involved. Once again let’s look at the following passage.
Isaiah 55:10-11 (KJV)
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
How does God get His Word into the earth? Through men and woman! God created all things by His words.
Hebrews 11:3 (KJV)
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
We are to follow this first example and the example of Jesus in His earthly ministry. Dear ones just like God we create as we speak, but unlike God we can bring forth evil or good.
Luke 6:45 (KJV)
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
It would take a good theologian to confuse us on the forgoing passage. This is about as clear as it gets that we, yes, you and me, bring forth, make a reality in our lives that which is in abundance in our hearts. Whatever is in our lives we have been the author of it. This is why it is paramount that we weigh every word before it flies out of our mouths. The words we speak and believe build our lives.
Proverbs 4:20-23 (KJV)
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Look at verse twenty-three in the New Living Translation.
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT)
23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
We can choose by our words spoken in faith the abundance of the Kingdom of God or the poverty of the devils stealing, killing, and destroying. We can have faith in God which is what I recommend or have faith in the destruction’s of the devil, which have you, have I chosen. It is evident in our life.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
