Greetings dear friend and brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, the Lord is so good dear ones. Welcome back to this engaging study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Today I am moving further into the 47th chapter of Isaiah using the NIV version of Scripture. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. If you are not sharing ask yourself and ask the Lord, why not. The featured picture today is of the buffalo, Adam and Eve, we had on the ranch here in Texas. That was a wonderful chapter of my life, great experiences, and now in a new chapter equally as wonderful. The Lord is good.
Now, let’s move ahead into our Bible Study of the wonderful Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 47:3-7 (NIV)
3 Your nakedness will be exposed and your shame uncovered. I will take vengeance; I will spare no one.”
4 Our Redeemer–the LORD Almighty is his name– is the Holy One of Israel.
5 “Sit in silence, go into darkness, Daughter of the Babylonians; no more will you be called queen of kingdoms.
6 I was angry with my people and desecrated my inheritance; I gave them into your hand, and you showed them no mercy. Even on the aged you laid a very heavy yoke.
7 You said, ‘I will continue forever– the eternal queen!’ But you did not consider these things or reflect on what might happen.
As we consider further verse three, let us also consider the following verses and not only how they apply to other but how they apply to you and me.
1 Corinthians 4:5 (KJV)
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
If there are things coming to mind of which any of us have not repented, now is the time.
1 John 1:9 (KJV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Since its fall the physical city of Babylon has been more or less obscure as other, equally evil, have risen to power over the world system. Let us be not confused, people for the most part are not the problem it is the demonic powers who lead saint (all too often) and sinner alike into their wicked ways who are the problem.

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (KJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow and remember that the Lord is good, He is really good.
