Greetings dear and precious saints of God my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, and welcome back to this life changing study of the Bible book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. The Lord is so good to give us His Word, a lamp unto our feet. The Word is the thoughts of God and are to be our thoughts, how we think, we need to train ourselves to think like God. We will then talk like God. Then we will be in the Seventh Day living as God intended not being in and of the earth cursed system of toil and sweat. Many make the Scriptural point that they are in the world but not of the world. Does the fruit of their lives bear out that statement?
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the wonderful Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 51:16-19 (NIV)
16 I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand– I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.'”
17 Awake, awake! Rise up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the LORD the cup of his wrath, you who have drained to its dregs the goblet that makes men stagger.
18 Of all the sons she bore there was none to guide her; of all the sons she reared there was none to take her by the hand.
19 These double calamities have come upon you– who can comfort you?– ruin and destruction, famine and sword– who can console you?
Yesterday I discussed very briefly the fallacy of “hard work”, we were not appointed to hard work by God. Man chose hard work when he made Satan, and Satan’s words, his God. Which Kingdom were you working for and are you working for now? Now to our text verse sixteen. Through the Prophet Isaiah the Lord tells them and us that He has put His Words in our mouths and covered us with His Holy Spirit. In effect, it doesn’t get any better than this! In effect He says, I made everything you see and I declare that “you are my people”. Dear ones we are to be led of the Holy Spirit; He will lead us into all Truth.
John 16:13-14 (KJV)
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Now, dear ones we are to say what He says not what the devils say, just think of the mess that created in the beginning. As we are about to close let’s think upon the following Scriptures.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
There is NO curse mixed in with the blessings when we do all His commandments. On the other hand there is no blessings mixed in with the curses when we go after other gods.
Deuteronomy 28:14-15 (KJV)
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Does Scripture tell us that we can just say any old thing and walk in the blessings? Of course not!
Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Finally, Jesus.
John 12:48-50 (KJV)
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. It’s leap year!

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
