MY HOLY MOUNTAIN
Video link: https://youtu.be/BA-bmLZvEJo
Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to this study of the wonderfully Prophetic and instructive Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. The Lord will bless you for sharing. The featured picture today is of His Church of Reconciliation, Yoakum, Texas. Last week and this I have been featuring pictures of various Churches not to highlight a particular denomination but remind us all that the Church is the one most in need of prayer.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, you know why.
Isaiah 56:5-8 (KJV)
5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
As we pick up with verse seven of our primary Bible text, we find that Father God is bringing the stranger those initially outside the commonwealth of Israel to His Holy Mountain.
Ephesians 2:11-14 (KJV)
11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Isn’t this wonderful, actually beyond wonderful! For those in Christ Jesus there is no difference, no Jew or Gentile all one in Him. As we are winding down for today let’s look at “my holy mountain”. His holy mountain is Jerusalem, specifically Mount Moriah. The place where the Jews believe Adam was made, the place where the Blood Covenant to bring the Messiah into the earth was tested, the place of Jacobs ladder, and the place Jesus paid the price for us all 2000 years ago. It is the place to which Jesus will return soon, set up His Kingdom and rule the earth for 1000 years. Now, let’s turn the pages of the Book of Isaiah back to the following passage.
Isaiah 2:1-4 (ESV)
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it,
3 and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.
Dear ones we will be there if we are among the overcomers. We will have assignments, responsibilities under Christ Jesus and others. At this time, we will be eternal ones with glorified bodies like unto His, and adding knowledge of the Kingdom at amazing speeds to better serve the King of kings and our Heavenly Father.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, the Lord is good and He is nothing but good, and He cannot lie. You may be getting tired of this ending. However, this is contrary to what many Christians actually believe. Many Christians, if not all, will agree that God is good, however their theology does not teach that He is only good.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
