LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART EIGHTEEN
Saturday – August 25, 2018, Elul 14, 5778

TIME FRAME FOUR
Genesis 3:6 to Hebrews 1:3
The Word of God is so wonderful! The thoughts, the words, the ways of God are not hidden from us. There are those who walk in darkness by choice (I am talking in the Church) for they refuse to value the Word and be diligent to study and make the Word of God their own. We have a Covenant responsibility to think, talk, and act like God. The benefits of this wonderful Covenant will not flow in the abundance God has provided until we discharge our responsibilities. Let each of us ask ourselves, “Am I still at the fire insurance level with God?” It is wonderful that we are not going to Hell but we have a responsibility to diligently study the Word of God as if our life depended upon it, for it does! We must them exercise our faith, in love, led of Holy Spirit accomplishing our assignments in the earth. Let us ask ourselves; “Are we sons in the Kingdom or are we slackers?”
As promised last week, let us now turn our attention to Moses. Remember, we are in the fourth time frame which might commonly be referred to as the Old Testament period. As you may recall God prevented Moses from entering the Promised Land due to is disobedience in the wilderness. Recall, the first time that water (Word of God) was brought from a rock (Jesus) God instructed Moses to strike the rock once (Crucifixion, once for all), he did and water came forth. The next time water was needed God told Moses to speak to the rock (Jesus) however Moses struck the rock twice as if crucifying Jesus twice. This was an abomination. However, God in His mercy allows Moses to look over into the Promised Land from Mount Nebo in Moab. As an aside, Moab was the son of the eldest daughter of Lot obtained from an incestuous relationship with her father Lot. This relationship was an abomination before God as well. Now, let’s see what Scripture has to say about the death of Moses.
Deuteronomy 34:5-7 (KJV)
5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
The preceding Scripture makes it very clear that Moses was healthy at the time of his death. I wonder how the people who teach that not everyone gets healed so they can die and go to Heaven reconcile just this one passage. Just because we observe sick people dying and going to Heaven does not make it Scripture or the will of God. Enough of that, let’s continue on about Moses.
Jude 1:9 (KJV)
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Moses gave up the ghost (the immaterial part) and was gathered to the Bosom of Abraham presumably. Scripture makes it clear that his body was buried in the earth. So, unlike Enoch and Elijah he was not taken whole (material and immaterial part) into Heaven. We do have to consider however that his soul and spirit (immaterial part) went into Heaven just as the redeemed do today in the fifth time period. Again, reaching into a different dispensation or time-period and obtaining salvation out of time by faith. Interesting to think about. If Enoch and Elijah (and perhaps others) went whole in to Heaven out of time and distinctly different than any other time period by faith what would prevent Moses from going like we will go if Jesus tarries? As we consider these things let’s take a look at what is commonly called Mount Transfiguration.
Mark 9:2-4 (KJV)
2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
4 And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.
So, where did Moses come from to appear with Jesus and Elijah on Mount Transfiguration? We know that Elijah came from Heaven for he was taken there in a chariot of fire whole. But Moses yielded up the ghost to the Lord and his body was buried in a secret location by Michael an archangel. Moses presumably came from the Bosom of Abraham to Mount Transfiguration yet the disciples were able to see him as they saw Elijah and Jesus. Each of these men (Jesus, Elijah, Moses) have an eternal spirit, Elijah has mortal flesh but full of glory (as Moses face glowed when he came off the mountain), Moses has no flesh, and Jesus has a mortal body. Elijah and Jesus are very similar at this moment. It is easy to understand how Peter, James, and John saw Jesus and Elijah with natural eyes but not Moses. Natural eyes cannot see the immaterial part of us otherwise when people die we would always visually witness the spirit leaving. God had to open their spiritual eyes to make them witness to a very special event. Elijah represents the Prophets and Moses the Law. Fulfillment of Messianic Prophecy and Sacrificial Law is in the earth and His name is Jesus, Jehovah saved.
Up to this point (before Jesus came to earth) life in Heaven is changed to the extent that there are two men taken whole to Heaven and each has his own Mansion. They are well aware of their assignment back in the earth during the Tribulation period. Remember for them that will only seem like a very few days (God time). The Holy Trinity is in Heaven along with various types of angelic beings of all types and ranks. The grandeur of Heaven is like the beauty of the earth times infinity, an impossible number for natural man to conceive or express.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
