THE WILL OF GOD IS FOR OUR WEALTH AND HEALTH

Greetings and welcome back to Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries and our study of The Kingdom of God. The core and the lion’s share (common theme) of the Masters’ Ministry in the earth centers around the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. He either was teaching the laws, ways, of the Kingdom or demonstrating the laws, ways, of the Kingdom. Those teaching for the most part emphasized prosperity and/or health thus the new image for these teachings.
LIGHT TODAY:
- Our Heavenly Father wants us wealthy and healthy so that we are useful to the Kingdom of God and a powerful testimony to saint and sinner alike.
- Our Heavenly Father wants us by our words in faith powered of love to bring the Kingdom of God, the will of God just as it is in Heaven into our lives, our jurisdiction.
- We have a mandate to counter the poverty and disease of the world and Church alike.
Now, let’s go to our anchor Scripture for this study.
Matthew 6:31-33 (KJV)
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
As we plunge into our study for today, I have included I have included two verses before our anchor to give increased context. In verse thirty-one we find the phrase “take no thought, saying”. If you research this Jesus is talking about anxious or worried thoughts. Thoughts will come to us concerning the various things in our lives that are designed to bring anxiety, worry, and fear. The key is to cast those thoughts down by answering with the Word of God that addresses that particular situation. We are not to utter, talk about, say these issues or situations in fear and without the Bible answer in faith. Jesus said that when we say the anxious thought we have taken it, don’t take it!
Next, I want to draw our attention to the word “need” in verse thirty-two. This is not only talking about absolute necessities in our lives. According to The Complete Word Study Dictionary – New Testament this word means a need, necessity, to have need of, want, or desire. Our Heavenly Father wants His Kingdom, His will manifest in our lives here on the earth just as in Heaven.
Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
The following passage of Scripture will serve as an introduction to tomorrow’s discussion. Many of you will recognize this as a discussion or teaching by the Master to His disciples then and now of the end of the times.
Matthew 24:3-8 (KJV)
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Please know that all of this has been ongoing since the beginning of sin on earth. All of what is said is the result of sin, the curse, the kingdom of darkness in the earth acting upon the words of those talking his will. Did you notice verse eight? It did not say these things were the end of sorrows but the beginning. Kingdom against kingdom is not just earthly kingdoms but the darkness and light.

- Our Heavenly Father wants us wealthy and healthy so that we are useful to the Kingdom of God and a powerful testimony to saint and sinner alike.
- Our Heavenly Father wants us by our words in faith powered of love to bring the Kingdom of God, the will of God just as it is in Heaven into our lives, our jurisdiction.
- We have a mandate to counter the poverty and disease of the world and Church alike.
