THE KINGDOM OF THE SON OF GOD IS WITHOUT END

Greetings dear saints of God, followers and partners with this Ministry. Today I am continuing our study of The Kingdom of God. This was the major thrust of Jesus’ earthly Ministry and therefore of ours. Really, the whole Bible if you are looking for it is instructing us in Kingdom of God living. Can you imagine there is a better life now or later than the life the Kingdom of God makes available? Yes, I am a prosperity teacher, prosperity in every arena of life, for that is what the Bible teaches. That is not to say that we are not presented with opportunities to fail, and in so doing suffer, but that is our choice, not God’s. Now that I have everyone riled up let’s turn to our anchor/golden text.
Matthew 6:33 (AMP)
33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
So, what is to be first in our lives? His Kingdom and His righteousness or something else? Remember a kingdom has a king, which is the one with highest authority in the kingdom. The citizens of the kingdom are regulated by the laws of the kingdom. All kingdoms, governmental principalities, are regulated by various laws and so it is for the Kingdom of God. Now, let’s turn our attention to further study of the Kingdom of God. In the following passage the angel (Archangel) Gabriel is appearing to Mary bringing the announcement that she is to bear the Son of God, the One who will bring salvation.
Luke 1:30-33 (KJV)
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
There is a whole lot we could discuss here but I will attempt to remain focused on our topic, the Kingdom of God. This must have been quite a surprise to Mary but at the same time she maintained her composure. I don’t know how often angels show up in front of you but I’m not sure I would have been as composed as she appears to be. It very well could have been that the angel brought a supernatural calm and peace into the situation, the encounter. Then add to the sudden surprise of the angel Gabriel the information that she was about to become pregnant with the Son of God. Let’s talk for a moment about the body of Jesus, the son of God.
Hebrews 10:5 (AMP)
5 Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer];
The body that Jesus was to inhabit (God is a Spirit) was prepared by God just as God prepared a body for the first Adam. Jesus had to come as other men, and Mary was to carry this developing conception by the Holy Spirit, the Word become flesh for a natural birth. The physical body of Jesus was not composed of DNA from Joseph and Mary but came into being supernaturally by the spoken Word. Most like had the same DNA as the first Adam.
John 1:1 (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 (KJV)
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Back to our Luke text, what about the phrase “of his kingdom there shall be no end”? The Kingdom of God was born on Resurrection Day (not at Pentecost when 3000 were added). From the moment Jesus said to His disciples peace unto to breathing upon them saying receive the Holy Spirit the Church and the redeemed Kingdom of God was born. That Kingdom shall never end for He and we, the redeemed, are eternal and eternally inhabited and accompanied by the Holy Spirit. And, as you know a physical Kingdom of God is coming in part during His Millennial reign and in total with the new heaven and new earth.
TAKE HOME:
