TEACHING AND PROPHETIC ARM – PART THREE
Saturday – March 14, 2020, Adar 18, 5780
Greetings dear friends and partners of this Ministry and welcome back to this Saturday series in which I am endeavoring to give insights into the history and call upon this ministry. Each of us have a call for ministry whether it is on an individual basis or as an organized ministry such as this one. Each of us as individuals and the groups in which the Lord leads us have a vital ministry, to make the body of Christ complete. It is vital that each of us be in our place. The Apostle Paul wrote about it in terms of a human body. As you can image our body does not function well with pieces missing or pieces not doing their assigned function. Please take a moment to read and meditate the following rather lengthy portion of Scripture.
1 Corinthians 12:14-26 (KJV)
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Each of us in all sincerity before God must ask Him, and Him alone, where is my place and what is my Ministry for you Lord. A few moments ago, I mentioned what we all have ministry in the body of Christ whether it be in our home and family, our work, our Church, or an organization such as this one, Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc.
Some of you as you read the subtitle of this study “Teaching and Prophetic Arm” may have thought to yourself, I don’t believe there are Prophets today. What about teachers? Do you believe in teachers, people that teach the Word of God, and have been ordained of God to the office of Teacher?
Ephesians 4:10-12 (KJV)
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
The One who descended from Heaven into the earth is Jesus, Who came to reverse the works or the devil. Let us all thoughtfully examine the following Scriptures.
1 John 3:8 (KJV)
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (Bold added)
The devil brought sin to mankind, unfortunately mankind choose sin of their own freewill (given of God) just as you and I do day in and day out as opportunities to sin are presented to us. With sin came death and the whole of the curse.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I have told many people over the years that if there is one verse to know it is John 10:10. This is important because it tells us right away how to figure out who is doing what.
Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
In Christ Jesus we are no longer subject to the law of sin and death, we have grace and mercy, opportunity for repentance and forgiveness and complete restoration without being irrevocably separated from God like Adam and Eve. In Him, Christ Jesus, we are free of the curse (read Deuteronomy 28) by faith, in love, and led of the Holy Spirit. Back to Ephesians one. He, Christ, who descended and paid the price of sin, the price of our redemption ascended back to Heaven. When He ascended back to Heaven, He placed the Five-Fold-Ministry in the body of Christ comprised of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers. Is this Bible or not? Let’s each of us determine today to take our place with all fervency and do our part.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
