REPENT OF WHAT? PART ONE

Greetings to all the friends and partners of this Ministry, Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. of which The Three Minute Word blog is a part. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of this Ministry. As you are likely all too aware, for over two months there has been a raging discussion concerning the Pandemic caused by the Coronavirus. Much of what I have seen is from parties of profound scientific and spiritual ignorance. I don’t expect a lot of spiritual insight from the world but I keep hoping to find some among Church leaders. I have been talking about the profound corruption of God’s Word, and the gross darkness that envelops the Church for many years. The same thing happened to God’s people in old Israel and they suffered many unnecessary hardships until they finally realized they had sinned and no longer were walking with the Lord. Repentance is always the way out of any mess. There seems to be a general consensus in the Church that individuals and the corporate body have nothing of which to repent. The cry of the Church seems to be that the world needs to repent and the government is heavy handed and trampling on our rights. Really? Have the Words that God spoke and are recorded in the thirty-nine Books of the “Old Testament” still valid or have they passed away? Perhaps we can just pick and choose which Words we like and which we don’t?
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
How much poverty and disease are associated with the Blessing? I hope your answer was, none! That is the right answer. How much poverty and disease were present in Jesus’ life in the earth? None! Jesus did not go aside to any other words and He said we could do everything that He did. Why are we slack? Did God’s people under the “Old Covenant” walk in the Blessing (favor, power of God) so long as they worshipped Him and Him alone? Is the “Old Covenant” stronger or weaker than the “New Covenant”? Do we have all they had plus? You betcha! We have all they had plus eternal life, the Blood of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Betcha is a contraction of bet you (used to express confidence or certainty that something is the case or will happen). As a disclaimer I am not advocating for betting or gambling at any time, of any type, or for any purpose. What brings bondage, darkness, and poverty of every type (money, health, family, etc.)?
Deuteronomy 28:14-15 (KJV)
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Are we reading this carefully? God, the Word, tells us here in no uncertain terms that when we “go aside from any of the words which I command” “to go after other gods” “all these curses will come upon thee, and overtake thee”. So, if the curse is operating in our lives what can we conclude with 100% certainty? We have gone aside from His Word, we have gone after other gods, and as promised curses have come upon us. The devil is all too eager to accommodate. It is our responsibility to prove every word that we hear or see. Is it of God or the devil? If it is of the devil discard it immediately. There is what some call dark knowledge. This is knowledge that is factual, like how a gas combustion engine works, and of course we all have this type of knowledge and for the most part it is very useful. In a Christian with the Holy Spirit this knowledge can be enhanced and be light knowledge. That is how Daniel and others stood out from the heathens around them. If it is of God it is far and away our priority to receive, believe, and to do. It takes diligence every day to stay in the blessing and out of the curse. Our thoughts and our words now in this time determine the course of our lives now and all that is to follow. When will we start thinking and talking on the God level and forsake the devil level?
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
