THE GREATER THINGS – PART NINE
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners of this Ministry and welcome back to this ongoing Sunday Bible Study of “The Greater Things”. Before we go further please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of this Ministry, the reach of the Truth. I want to take a moment here to remind each and every Christian to vote. Vote for life, free speech, law and order, Israel, marriage between one man and one woman, and a vibrant free enterprise system of commerce. By the way, all of these things are a God idea. Just read the Bible. If you think these things are to be found in the Democrat Party you need to read their platform again.
The COVID-19 Pandemic remains with us and is and will continue to spike into the winter. I encourage all Christians to follow the law, wear your masks, don’t be a “mask slacker” (yes, yes, yes, they work!), keep gatherings under 50 indoors and 100 outdoors, and practice social distancing. If you have questions, I suggest you go back and again read the Position Paper I published on the 12th of September. It would be a serious mistake to think of that paper as one opinion among many. I do not say that pridefully but with all Godly humility. Many Churches have been and remain horrible examples of good citizenship of civil government and the Kingdom of God. We have an obligation as citizens to follow the laws of the land and God. Disobeying the law of the land is disobedience to God which has far more important and far reaching consequences.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our extraordinarily important topic of “The Greater Things”. We could accurately say, the Eden Mandate reactivated. As we start let’s review the Words of Jesus.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
This verse like many in the Word of God has been seen but not seen with spiritual eyes, heard but not heard with spiritual ears and with no light (revelation). Who do you or I know that are doing the works that Jesus did? Why is this not common place? Unbelief! Let us repent of our unbelief, strengthen our faith, and use our faith, no longer being slack making the Kingdom of God a reality people can see and not just Christian jargon. We have presented the Kingdom in words alone for way to long, let us go all places in the Power of God. When Jesus returned from being tempted in the wilderness, He read the following passage from the Book of Isaiah.
Luke 4:17-19 (KJV)
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
This was the Ministry of Jesus in the earth to show us how we also were to live. We are not to be working for the man, so to speak, catching up around the house on Saturday, and throwing the Lord a few hours of our time on Sunday. Does that sound like Kingdom of God living or is that toiling in submission to the curse? Do we believe and are we taught that is just the way it has to be for now and we will have something altogether different in the sweet bye and bye? We, the sons and daughters of the Almighty God are to bring the will of God that exists in Heaven into the earth and we are to transform everywhere we go as Heaven on the earth. Same assignment as Adam, Eve, and all who would follow. God and His Word do not change. The difference for us is that we have a boatload of demons to contend with plus the curse. However, we are well able to excel and overcome all that would stand in our way, the way of God for us. Dear ones we have some things in us, trees bearing fruit contrary to the Word of God, let us endeavor to root those out and plant trees that bear the fruit of Heaven.
Matthew 15:12-14 (KJV)
12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
What did Jesus say that offended the Pharisees?
Matthew 15:7-9 (KJV)
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Could this be a problem today for us, for the Church at large? Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
