1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from
Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries publishers of The Three Minute Word. God is so good. Today at sundown (6 pm) is the start of the Feast of the Lord called Pentecost. Not only was “the Day of Pentecost fully come” some 2000 years ago but is fully come to this day and forever. The word ‘Pentecost’ has to do with the number fifty. The Feast of Pentecost is the fourth of the four spring feasts of the Lord. This Feast is fifty days after the Feast of First fruits or seven weeks after the 16th of Nisan which is the second day of Passover or Unleavened Bread. This Feast of the Lord is also called the Feast of Weeks being seven (spiritual completion) weeks counting from the 17th of Nisan (day Jesus was resurrected from the dead – a day of victory [#17]). These feasts are not only for Gods’ first Covenant people in an ancient time but for us today. These Feasts of the Lord are not to be swept into the dust bin of history, but have important Truths for today. Let’s read the Lord’s command concerning this Feast.
Leviticus 23:15-21 (KJV)
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.
18 And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.
19 Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
Since it is a command of the Lord to celebrate or commemorate this Feast forever (verse twenty-one), why is that not happening in Christian Churches around the world? The first Pentecost was when Moses ascended Mount Sinai and received the Law, including the Ten Commandments, directly from God. The second Pentecost was the pouring out of the Holy Spirit for the empowerment of any who would receive Jesus and receive Him making Jehovah Father. All that remains is the redemption of our bodies and the final snuffing out of all death, spiritual and physical.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
1 Corinthians 15:54-56 (KJV)
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
