AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

ASK IN MY NAME
Greetings children, sons, and daughter’s of the only Living God and welcome back to this wonderful, powerful, life changing Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment right now, yes, right now, to share this teaching as widely as possible. God sees. The featured picture today was taken by a good friend of this Ministry, Joe Getchell Jr of Pittsfield, Maine. Concerning COVID-19, we have done very well here in the State of Maine up to this point (July 18) in spite of the rebellion against authority by Christians and heathen alike. Be very aware that when one rebels against legally constituted authority you are also rebelling against God. I strongly urge everyone not to become complacent in any way but be vigilant especially spiritually. For the Christian nothing should be “life or Church as usual” ever again. The Church at large has not repented and attacked this pestilence on a spiritual level so worse is yet to come. There is a rising remnant, but it is not strong enough yet, but soon, to change things except for themselves and theirs. The things that Jesus did, and the greater things are at hand. This rising remnant will change, revitalize, any person, any home, any community, any city who will receive them by the Power of God. Are you committed to being a part of the end-time move of God? What does it look like? Does it look like yesteryear or is it going be a new thing? In many respects it will look like yesteryear, but it will not stop where they stopped. It will be Azusa Street but not confined to a building until Jesus comes. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 16:26-31 (KJV)
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
Our God, our Lord, is so good to give us His Word, to give us clarity, not a variance of opinion but the clear Truth. We hear the term opinion thrown around with regard to Scripture. Opinion is not a Bible concept, but clarity and Truth are of the Lord. Opinion arises when one needs a Scripture to conform to a nonbiblical erroneous concept. We are to study and rightly divide the Scripture which is to know the Truth not have an opinion.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We are to know the Truth not have an opinion about what the Truth might be. Rightly dividing the Word of Truth is the will of God not a variety of opinions or theories. Opinions and theories do not have equal weight with the Truth, with rightly dividing the Word of Truth. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, He leads us into all Truth not opinions and theories.
John 16:13 (KJV)
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (Bold added)
Okay, back to our primary text. In these final moments before Jesus is to surrender to the Cross, He is doing much teaching of the assembled disciples then and now. He tells us that in that day, the day when He returns to the Father and the Holy Spirit is come, we will ask all things of the Father in His name. He makes it clear that we are not asking Him, and He is then asking the Father, we are going directly to the Father in His name. Keep in mind that at salvation His name is our name, we are called by His name. This is like when a man (Christ the bridegroom) and woman (Church, us individually) are married the woman is then called by the husbands name. When Donna married me, she became Donna Wood. She now does things as a “Wood”, all of the assets that were mine are now held in common just as with Christ. In my name Donna accesses all that belonged to David Wood just as we upon entering the Kingdom of God access all that belonged to Christ Jesus. What a glorious reality dear friends, saints, sons and daughters of God, bride of Christ. Consider the following two verses and rejoice.
Colossians 3:17 (KJV)
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Acts 17:28 (KJV)
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
