Greetings precious saints of God, rejoice for we who are in the Kingdom of God are sealed unto the day of our full redemption! Oh, what a day dear ones! If you are reading this and not in the Kingdom of God, don’t let another second go by, cry out to the Lord Jesus the only Savior. Now, let’s focus our attention on today’s primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 44:1-5 (KJV)
1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
5 One shall say, I am the LORD’S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
I will pick up with the first verse again today. Listen to that first verse (you are reading out loud?), He chose them, He had chosen us before Genesis 1:2. Listen to the Apostle Paul.
Ephesians 1:3-5 (KJV)
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
I spoke a little yesterday about verse three and today I want to address verse four to a limited extent. The Apostle Paul affirms that we were chosen “before the foundation of the world”. Consider the following verse and the Words given the Apostle John to write about this.
Revelation 13:8 (KJV)
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
The word “foundation” in the Ephesians and Revelation text means to throw or to cast down. Well, when did that happen?
