Matthew 6:23 (KJV)
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Matthew 15:18-19 (KJV)
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
It is with a saddened and frustrated heart that I write this letter to the body of Christ. Yes, I am saddened by the loss of life, the people who were killed and the indescribable loss for those families. Now will come a flurry of outcries that something must be done about guns. There will be host of carnal/natural solutions proposed to prevent these occurrences. I am frustrated with the Church, the body of Christ. Everything that exists in the natural has a spiritual origin, everything dear ones. There must be a spiritual solution. Darkness does not have an answer for darkness! Awaken my dear brothers and sisters.
These mass shooting have really spiked since about 1980 however that is not when guns were invented nor is it when semiautomatic or even fully automatic weapons were invented. It is not a gun problem! The problem is the Church, yes, you and me. I suspect we all have seen the following Scripture over and over and just knew it was talking about other people and certainly not my Church.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
God is not talking to the world; He is talking to us. The satanic rape of our land escalates year to year and we (Christians) just lament how bad it’s getting. Lord, please forgive us, be merciful to us, and lead us back to righteousness! Who has authority in the earth? We the Church!
Matthew 16:18-19 (KJV)
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Hell on the earth cannot prevent the advance of righteousness, of Truth, but someone has to be righteous and someone has to speak the Truth. These keys open any door we need and want to open. When we forbid on the earth all of Heaven moves to enforce and whatever we authorize (make well known) on earth, like righteousness and Truth, all of Heaven will assist. We must not fear anything apart from God.
2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Job 3:25-26 (KJV)
25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
Fear is a conduit for evil to enter our lives. If we will listen intently in all things to the Holy Spirit, we can be spared from these hellacious events like occurred yesterday in Maine.
Psalm 91:1-3 (KJV)
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psalm 91:7 (KJV)
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Do we want our nation healed or are we satisfied to sit back and watch evil increase? It is up to us.
