TEACHING AND PROPHETIC ARM – PART TWO
Saturday – March 7, 2020, Adar 11, 5780
Greetings to our dear friends and partners of this God ordained Ministry named Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. Welcome back to this Saturday series which over several weeks will delineate the history of this Ministry and the call from God. Please understand that people (Ministries) are called and ordained of God sometimes long before people of authority in the organized Church recognize and set a seal of approval upon them (issue papers). Consider the following Scripture.
Acts 13:2-3 (KJV)
2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
Who said to separate Barnabas and Saul (Apostle Paul) apart for the Ministry? Who then followed on after hearing from God? The Holy Ghost (Spirit) separated them and then the authorities recognized them and sent them forth into their ministry. When was the first time Paul (Saul above) knew what he was called to do?
Acts 9:3-6 (KJV)
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
I was called and ordained of God to establish this Ministry in 2007. The IRS (although not necessary because of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States) granted 501 (c) (3) status on April 16, 2007. Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. is a non-profit tax-exempt entity making contributions deductible.
Amendment 1 – Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
This Ministry from the inception has been a teaching and prophetic ministry whether it be in person, in books, or various writings like this Three Minute Word blog. There were and are three prongs of the teaching aspect. One is general Bible teaching, prong two concerns the foundation and moral character of our nation, and the third prong is to educate the body of Christ regarding the importance of honoring Israel. In 2019 the Lord brought two other arms of this Ministry into focus. One had been on the shelf for some time so to speak and that is the Sabbatical Moments Arm. Later in 2019 Donna and I were quickened to start the Conference Arm of this Ministry. There are already Sabbatical Moments projects in the works and a Women’s Conference, themed “The Virtuous Woman” is in the works for the 30th of May 2020 at New Beginnings Church of God in Waterville, Maine. Donna and me have a dynamite speaker from Texas all lined up, the Reverend Denise Stiewig. Ladies be sure you have your flyer and are registered. Now, the windows of Heaven seem to be open to us and many wonderful things are happening. Doors are open that no man can close (except us) and doors are closed that no man can open (except us). We are the ones who determine our success or failure in the Kingdom of God and thus in our lives.
Now, a little bit of my history. I am a retired physician, a DO, I attended college at the University of Maine in both Augusta and Orono. Attended the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City Missouri graduating in 1980. I spent four years at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso Texas from 1980 to 1984. There I did a flexible internship followed by a residency in Internal Medicine. I am a Board Certified in Internal Medicine. I then went to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio Texas from 1984 to 1988 where I practiced in the Internal Medicine Clinic at Beach Pavilion. It was while in San Antonio that I was born again and this wonderful Christian, Kingdom of God, journey began. I spent a total of eight years on active duty honorably discharged with the rank of Major in 1988. In 1988 I established an Internal Medicine practice in San Antonio and retired March 31, 2016. Many of you knew my first wife of fifty-three plus years, Patricia Ann Snow Wood, who played a very important role and more than supportive role in all I, we, accomplished, has transitioned to Heaven. I have since married another wonderful woman, Donna Marie Gilbert Wood. About two months before meeting Donna the Lord gave me the following Scripture verse among many others but this one seems appropriate as I conclude for this week.
Haggai 2:9 (KJV)
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
I certainly needed peace when He gave this to me and I wondered how the “latter house” could be greater. The Christians life should always be forward and upward and not follow the accepted trajectory of the world with a peak and decline. God is doing all that He promised.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
