JOINT-HEIRS – PART TWO

Greetings to all of our beautiful (all of you) and precious friends and partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. God is so good dear saints. Also, welcome back to this Sunday teaching series continuing on the topic of being a joint-heir. We are family dear ones, we are heirs, and have already inherited in Christ Jesus. Each one reading please prayerfully consider being a financial partner with this Ministry becoming a part in the doing and the reward of all the Lord leads us to do. No Ministry or business can operate on fresh air and best wishes. These posts are the most visible part is this Ministry, the Teaching arm, but there is also the Sabbatical Moments arm which reaches out to discouraged pastors, and the Conference arm. Being a joint-heir in the Kingdom of God is considerably different than being an heir in our natural families. In the natural an heir gets a portion or the whole of a finite inheritance. Not so for us as joint-heirs in the Kingdom of God which is unmeasurable. Our inheritance is spiritual now and for eternity and it is natural now and forever. Keep in mind there will always be an earth with heavens and they will be natural just like now (Isaiah 66:22, 2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1 [3 witnesses]). You may be wondering about the picture for this series. The man in the middle represents the Father, the man on the left (or right) represents Jesus, and the other man represents each one of us individually. Now, let’s look at some Scripture concerning we, the children of God, being joint-heirs. It is my prayer that each one found last weeks discussion on this topic not only interesting, and thought provoking, but profitable for your knowledge and faith.
Galatians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
It is wonderful dear saints that we are sons of God, we are not The Son of God but sons and joint-heirs (equal footing) with Him of all things. What is excluded in the phrase “all things”? We are a son by adoption, by birth, the new birth (salvation). With our own freewill we choose a new Daddy; our old father was the prince of darkness but our new Father is Father God. We not only got a new Daddy but a new name, citizenship in a new Kingdom, became subject to new obligations and the recipient of new benefits, and we became heir of all. Don’t fret dear ones the obligations of this Kingdom are easy and the burdens are light (see Matthew 11:30 below) compared to the kingdom of darkness which we just left. The way of the transgressor is hard (Proverbs 13:15). If we find our way is still hard in the Kingdom, we are not working the Covenant right, there is a lack of knowledge, a lack of faith, a lack of trust, and most importantly a lack of obedience (love – agape). Let us learn how to be full partakers in all that we have inherited. Our Father is rich, rich, rich, and so are we, but we are thinking poverty, talking poverty, and acting poverty. The Church is always looking for volunteers and how to get something free. Is that Bible? Is that the way and character of the Almighty God? The Christian struggling and finding their way hard is not fully come unto Jesus.
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
This is really, really, good news saints of God. We, the whole Church, needs very serious and immediate mind renewal in this area (and many others). This is all very important for us to step into full sonship and be the builder, owner, and creator we are to be for our Father with our Brother (Christ Jesus). Reflect on the following passage.
Galatians 4:1-2 (KJV)
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
You don’t give a five-year-old a corvette and high-powered rifle but a Tonka truck and a cap gun. We have not been turned loose for Kingdom work for we are immature and cannot be trusted with the full assets of Heaven and earth. How long will we be slack? We, the Church, are operating in way too much carnality which is death rather than full leadership of the Spirit which is life and peace. Ladies and Gentlemen, we can have Heaven upon the earth in our time in our lives otherwise why would Jesus tell us to pray for it?
Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
We are heir of all and with increased maturity it is ours to expand the Kingdom of God, improve others lives and in the process, God will see to it that our lives overflow. He is an overflow God!
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
