AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

Greetings to our precious friends and partners of this Ministry and followers of The Three Minute Word blog. We welcome you back to this wonderfully powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. God is so good to give us His Word taking the guesswork out of what His will is and what we are to do. Please take a few moments at this time to share this teaching extending our reach of the gospel, of the Truth. The featured image today is depicting a footstool upon which the feet of Jesus (you and me) rest. Since each Spirit baptized believer has the very highest level of authority and the Power to back it up why are the heathen running everything and why do they have all the money? Why do the heathen control the gates of every sphere of influence (pillars, mountains)? Where is the Scripture for the heathen being the head and the Church being the tail? The Serpent has beguiled the Church which thinks our current situation is the will of God. What an affront to our God, the One who paid it all to redeem us, our authority and the Blessing! Jesus is heir of all (notice all – spiritual and physical) and we are joint-heirs (participants in common) with Him (Hebrews 1:2, Romans 8:17). When will we stop being suckered by the lies of the demons, the traditions of men, and the doctrine of demons? When will we stop playing the victim card and play the king in us card? Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible Study and primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 20:17-19 (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
Jesus has just risen from the physical and spiritual dead, has an immortal body, and is fully restored as the second person of the Triune God. And, He chose to present Himself to Mary Magdalene first, what an honor. We have, now for many days, been reviewing the Words the Father spoke when He raised and restored Jesus. Our primary text for this is the following.
Hebrews 1:10-14 (KJV)
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven functioning as our advocate, our intercessor, and our High Priest. These are all functions of the man, Christ Jesus. He is also God, Head of the Church, the King of kings, the Lord of lords. We are the kings and lords that He is King and Lord over. If the Head, Christ Jesus, is raised far above so must the body (you and me) be raised far above all other powers.
Ephesians 1:19-23 (KJV)
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
So, now I return to the question asked in the introduction, why is the devil and his bunch running everything? Perhaps we should start doing what the Bible teaches, actually thinking, talking, and doing like God, our Father and our Brother. I want us all to note in verse twenty-one it says: “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also that which is to come:” So what is not under our feet, subject to our authority? Only the Trinity of God. All holy angels and evil spirits, and anything with a name which is everything is subject to us. So, what gives, why are we walking around like paupers in every area of life? Let’s say we believe the Bible and do it.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
