God is so good. Like many of you I rejected the Lord for many years thinking that what I was doing was better, more fun than being a part of the Kingdom of God. The devil has really done a terrific job deceiving us that he and those that follow him are the smart ones and God just wants to subject us to a hard and boring life. Does this sound at all familiar? Remember those folks named Adam and Eve?
Genesis 3:4-6 (KJV)
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Not only did we swallow the lie for a season but we encouraged others to join us in living the lie, the life of destruction.
John 8:44 (KJV)
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Now back to our study of the Book of Ephesians.
Ephesians 1:19-21 (KJV)
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
You know brother and sister another wonderful thing happened at the same instant that Jesus was raised and seated at the right hand of Majesty on Him, so were we!
Ephesians 2:4-7 (KJV)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
The very second, the split second that we make Jesus our Lord we are seated at the right hand of Majesty on high in Christ Jesus. This is not a position or placement that we will have in the sweet by and by but we have it now in the spirit realm. I believe from the moment we are born again that our relatives, all interested parties, can look at the Throne and see us there in Christ Jesus. This is of paramount importance. We must know this, it is not pie in the sky, it is a reality, in this reality we see things from Heavens view where the circumstances of earth are of no consequence for us. We also have Heavens view of the solution to the problems to which we are assigned.
Romans 1:20 (HCSB)
20 For His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse.
A truth that has been invaluable to me in the study and understanding of Scripture is the foregoing verse. As a paraphrase The Word tells us that we can understand and clearly see God by understanding the physical creation. The study of Quantum Physics has demonstrated that a single electron can be present in two place simultaneously. One scientist has suggested that if that is possible, reality, then more than two places is also likely a possibility. Who is all places present? God. It has also been shown that the electron that is in two places present acts or reacts in both places as one. Interesting, don’t you think. The application of this is that as events unfold in earth or information is shared with us in Heaven, since we are one in two locations there is no time involved and we move as one but with the knowledge of Heaven solving the problems of earth. Tomorrow I will pick-up with Ephesians 1:21.
