AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH
Saturday – February 27, 2021, Adar 15, 5781
FROM THE PROPHETS’ CHAMBER – WEEK FOUR
Greetings dear saints of God and welcome to the Prophets Chamber. As we are about to start please take a moment and share this as widely as possible. As I was thinking about and waiting before the Lord about todays teaching it seemed to me, I am to write about being carnal vs being spiritual. I will come back to that in a moment. Right now, since the election, there has been a war of the Prophets. I can tell you plainly, clearly, it is not the will of God for our government to be controlled by the wicked one. However, this was the choice of Gods’ very own people. Hear the words of a former President and Minister of the Gospel.
When giving his centennial address to Congress in 1876, President James Garfield issued the following warning: “Now, more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature…If the next centennial does not find us a great nation…it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.”
The children of God have authority in the earth and with God’s leadership put kingdoms up and take kingdoms down. Apparently, no one knows that. Apparently, we are sitting around bemoaning our circumstances and waiting for God to do what is our responsibility to do. God will not do what only He can do until we do what only we can do and is our responsibility. The Prophetic Word is always conditional. You know that from your own life and it is playing out right in front of our eyes. We also know that although ultimately God will have His way, His children can delay the will of God. Most of you probably did not get saved the first time He called you. On a personal level we can nullify the will of God partially, even totally. As a people we can delay the will of God but not completely thwart the will of God. An example of this is the children of Israel coming out of Egypt and entering the Promised Land.
As I wrote before, the Lord made it clear to me on the 1st of February that I was to align with Him and not other prophets. He also made it clear on the 4th of February that I was to let Him develop or define my theology. Before I move on, I can tell you with absolute confidence that this nation although in great chaos and wickedness at the moment it is coming down on a firm foundation and soon. The mighty towers are fallen and the kings are falling into the slim pits. The towers and kings are the wicked in our government. Over the past months we have seen a real separation of those in the government and in the Church. Stay focused on God, and not a particular man or woman. Ask the Lord to help you discern between the prophets and their words. Now, let’s change our focus for a moment.
Romans 8:1 (KJV)
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Some weeks, perhaps months ago, this verse just jumped out at me. The Lord through the Apostle Paul is telling us that there is no condemnation for those that walk after the Spirit. What about those that walk after the flesh? Am I reading this right? Does it actually tell us there is a condemnation for those, children of God, that walk after the flesh? This should be very sobering. The word ‘condemnation’ in this verse means to have an adverse sentence rendered or have a judgment against. It seems that this is not talking about being lost and going to Hell but the devil getting judgments against us that allow stealing, killing, and destroying in our lives. Let’s skip down a few verses.
Romans 8:5-8 (KJV)
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Living according to the flesh has adverse consequences in our lives. This all has to do with focus, where are our thoughts. Are we filtering everything (yes, everything) through the Spirit of God, through the Holy Scripture, or are we leaning to our own understanding in many or even all areas of our lives? I don’t know about you but I want to please God. I want death of any kind far from me. Help me Lord to focus my mind on You, the Spiritual, bringing abundance of life and peace.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
