FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK SEVENTY
AUTHORITY IN THE EARTH

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog. As we move forward, please take a moment and share this teaching by every means available to you. This is so important in expanding our reach with the gospel, the good news of the Kingdom of God. In fact, the Master Himself told us to command the Kingdom of God into the earth.
Matthew 6:9-11 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Now tell me, is this asking, begging, placing a demand, issuing a command, or placing a claim on the ways (laws) and assets of the Kingdom according to the will of God? All of the Kingdom is ours, Jesus said so! It is ours to use according to the will of God.
Luke 12:32 (KJV)
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Matthew 6:33)
There is great confusion in the Church about who we are and what rights and authority we have in the Kingdom of God. Much of the Church seems to think, or at least act like, we are like leaves blowing about in the wind.
Many believe we are totally at the mercy of the devils, the curse, and the mysterious unknowable will of God who is in control of it all. None of that is true. Any of you who have followed this blog for any length of time should know the Bible response to all of these doctrines of demons. Demons work by the words of our own mouths through deception and ignorance. The devils cannot make us do anything and God won’t make us do anything since it would violate our freewill. I will first address who has authority in the earth. Consider this question. Does the Lord change His will from time to time to keep us on our toes? What about these verses?
Malachi 3:6 (KJV)
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Is there a second witness?
Hebrews 13:8-9 (KJV)
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
Have we established in our minds that the will of God has not changed from the very beginning? Don’t we find the content of verse nine interesting right on the heels of verse eight? We are commanded to not be “carried about with divers and strange doctrines”. Various and strange doctrines about what? The Truth, the reality that God has always been and will always be the same. His will does not change and that is wonderful. Let’s see what God had to say about authority and the Power to back that authority up from the first mention of man.
Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
We see in verse twenty-six that mankind in the image and likeness of God was given dominion (authority) over all the earth and in verse twenty-eight we see the Power to back up the authority. We also see the first four of seven eternal mandates given to mankind. These were to be accomplished by the words of our mouth, in just the same way as God in the preceding verses.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here concerning this discussion of authority in the earth next Saturday.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
