AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

Greetings dear friends and partners of Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. and The Three Minute Word blog. Welcome back to our powerful study of the wonderfully prophetic and Messianic Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach. These teachings contain the very best news anyone will ever hear. The featured picture today is of Donna and me in Boothbay Harbor Maine in May of last year. I thought that especially our Texas readers would like a cooler scene. I believe we were there on this particular occasion with our wonderful friends Pastor Tom and Lori Duperry. Now, let’s all shift our attention to the teaching at hand reading our text aloud, yes, out loud. If you read this to just check a religious box then do it just any old way you see fit. If on the other hand you are looking to gain revelation knowledge, having grace and peace multiplied and build faith read out loud.
Isaiah 2:1-3 (KJV)
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Notice in verse three it does not say all people will go and say but that “many people shall go and say”. Can you imagine? After all these people have seen (Rapture, Tribulation, Armageddon), why 100% would not be at the feet of Jesus is crazy. Are those that submit (worship) to Jesus during this time, 1000-year reign of Christ in the earth from Jerusalem, saved? These are people who did not submit before the Catching Away of the Church or during the Tribulation, but are now submitting. Is the Blood still good? Yes, I believe they are saved and their names entered into the Book of Life. Look at a very interesting passage in Revelation chapter twenty.
Revelation 20:12-15 (KJV)
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
This is immediately following the Millennial Reign of Christ; the devil has been released and deceives the world once again. This is the final confrontation of the devil with God and His people. Notice verse fifteen above. The implication is that some peoples’ names were found in the Book of Life and are not cast into the lake of fire. Oh, what a God of mercy is our God. Now, let’s move forward into Isaiah 2:4.
Isaiah 2:4 (KJV)
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
The word judge here means to declare a verdict among the nations. Many have heard the term sheep and goat nations well this may well refer to that. Sheep nations are those who treated Israel honorably and goat nations are those who did not. It goes on to say that He corrects many and it appears they accept the correction as we read the remainder of the verse. It looks like even those upon whom judgment was declared and carried out were willing to change and follow after peace. War will be no more in this time. Let’s end this week with verse five.
Isaiah 2:5 (KJV)
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
The house of Jacob is all Jews and all Christians which have been made one house, one new man, for the Messiah came from the house of Jacob through Judah.
Ephesians 2:13-16 (KJV)
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Jew and Gentile alike who accept Christ are one body!

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
