HEALTH, HEALING, AND MIRACLES – PART EIGHT
Sunday – April 29, 2018 – Iyar 14, 5778

Greetings my precious brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus and welcome back to this wonderful and powerful Bible Study centered around the miracles of Jesus. Jesus said we were to put our name in there and the same was to be recorded of any and all believers.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Today I will be moving into the ministry of Jesus, see what He did, for that is what He and the Father expect us to do, and the Holy Spirit and Holy Angels are standing by to perform the words of our mouth.
Job 22:28 (KJV)
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
As we move forward I want to be very clear that our natural experiences are not always the will of God nor do they reflect spiritual reality or Truth. There are those who are guided by experience or the words of other people above the Word of God. When Scripture tells us that we shall know them by their fruit it is talking about Godly fruit produced for all to see by Godly faith.
Matthew 7:16-20 (KJV)
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Those who did not attain to the fullness of our Blood Covenant are not too be looked down upon but we are to celebrate that they also have received a crown of Glory. Many things can corrupt a tree and some have very deep roots. We must constantly be asking the Lord to cleanse us, to examine us, and to show us all of our darkness, and teach us how to eliminate the roots of wickedness. We then judge ourselves and in repentance take our cleansing by faith. Now, let’s consider the following Scriptures.
Matthew 8:1-4 (KJV)
1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Mark 1:40-45 (KJV)
40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
43 And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;
44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
Luke 5:12-15 (KJV)
12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
There is a question in the body of Christ and it is the same one that was on this leper’s lips that day when he approached Jesus. This leper did not question that Jesus had the power, or more accurately, Jesus could bring the power to bear doing the will of the Father. Jesus made it clear that He could do nothing of Himself because He was in the earth and functioning as a man, and that the Father did the works (John 5:19, 14:10). It is no different for us, when the will of God is known we are to declare it, decree it, and the Father through the Holy Spirit, Holy Angels, or any other means will do the work. The question in the mind of this leper and much of the Church today has to do with the will of God to heal them. Jesus made it clear that it was the will of God to heal this man. This question arises in statements like: “it is not always the will of God to heal, otherwise how would we die and go to Heaven?” Or perhaps you have heard: “Well my aunt had great faith and she did not get healed and died of her disease”. Sickness and disease is never the will of God for us. God never uses sickness to teach us something or to bring us to Heaven. The curse or the works of the devil are never the will of God. Your aunt was probably a wonderful lady but for whatever reason she did not have faith to receive her healing. The maintenance of health and healing are always without exception the will of God.
Healing for the believer under the Old Covenant was theirs and so it is under the New Covenant which enfolds all of the old, or what we commonly refer to as the Old Testament. One final but most critical point. Notice Jesus did not ask or beg the Father to heal this man, He decreed it for He knew the will of God and it was done from Him of the Father. You and I are to do the same!
Until our next publication, I speak prosperity and wellness of your physical body into your life right now, receive it in the name of Jesus, confess it, and walk it out with thanksgiving.
3 John 1:2 (AMP)
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
