HEALTH, HEALING, AND MIRACLES – PART SIX
Sunday – April 15, 2018 – Nisan 30, 5778

Isn’t the Word of God absolutely wonderful? These are not simply words on a page to encourage give us some guidance in the tough spots in life. This Word is alive and powerful to cause our lives to be a demonstration of the glory of God. As you know we are in the midst of a discussion about Health, Healing, and Miracles focused on the ministry of Jesus. Those who have been taught that Jesus operated as God in the earth cannot benefit from these teachings. These are the folks that say: “well that was Jesus, I cannot do that”. That awful deception is perpetrated by our demonic enemies frequently within the walls of the Church. The idea that Christ Jesus operated on a different level or in a different way than He expects us to operate will cause one to have a life of utter defeat. That person will never walk in the Blood Covenant benefits and for sure never discharging the Covenant obligations.
Before I move into another of the miracles reported in the ministry of Jesus let’s continue a little further in the supernatural maintenance of health. Let’s turn to Psalm Ninety-One. I for one have already determined that every bit of this Psalm like all other Scripture is for me in one way or another. Every bit of this Psalm is for us, it is the Truth. The Words of this Psalm will transform every one of our lives if we will declare it (prophesy) it into our lives (speak out loud) without doubting in our heart, believing that the words we speak will come to pass they will come to pass.
Psalm 91:1-8 (KJV)
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
The key to this part of the Psalm is in the first two verses. Looking at verse two first, understand that when each of us declare that the LORD is my refuge, my fortress, my God, the One I trust we are then dwelling in the secret place of the Most High and abiding in the shadow of the Almighty. As we continue with the Psalm we find that in this place we are delivered from the snare of the fowler, and the noisome pestilence (calamity, wickedness). So long as we trust Him we are covered (hidden) by the Lord and so long as we confess the Truth (Word of God) He is our shield and buckler. We are commanded not to be afraid. When we have faith, confidence in our God we are not afraid of bad things happening to us in the night or the day. Horrible things can be threatening us and happening all around but they cannot harm us. A thousand fall at one side and ten thousand at the other and we are not affected, we just see what happens to the wicked. Remember, the wicked referred to here is not just the unsaved but the saved as well. Now let’s look at the second half of this wonderful Psalm, Word of God, that makes and keeps us free, makes and keeps us wealthy, and makes and keeps us healthy.
Psalm 91:9-16 (KJV)
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
The key to the second half of this Psalm being active in our lives is dependent upon having made the LORD our refuge, our habitation and we do that by the declaration of our mouth. This is not something we ask God for, it is something we declare and He will honor His Word, which is His love towards us. God says that when we have made Him our refuge and habitation that no evil will befall us. If there is evil in our lives, guess what, we have not made Him our refuge and habitation. It is done by declaration (saying) in faith, nothing wavering (no doubt), believing we have received what we declared, and we shall have it. Do not let some Commentary or carnal preacher talk you out of the Truth of God’s Word making it of no effect. Do we want sickness and disease far from our door, do we want the angels protecting us, and do we want to trample on the devil and not the other way around? Now we came to another major point! We must love Him! Loving God, loving Jesus has to do with obedience to the Word, being selfless, and observing the Blood Covenant. Verse fourteen (a verse of deliverance) could be said this way: Because he hath set his obedience upon me, I will deliver him and set him on high (Dr. Wood paraphrase) Do we want Him to answer when we call, do we want Him demonstrably with us in trouble, delivering, and honoring us? Do we want a long healthy, wealthy, and satisfying life? What about His salvation? I don’t know about you, but I want it all and He says it is mine if I will just speak it into this physical realm.
I strongly encourage you to put the 91st Psalm in the first person and declare it into your life, thereafter thank Him for it in the first person. This would look something like the following. Lord you are my refuge and my fortress, you are the one I trust; therefore, I dwell in Your secret place and I abide in Your shadow. Continue down through the Psalm declaring it into your life. Once you have done that then thank Him for this reality. You might say something like this: Thank you Lord that you are my refuge and fortress, and the One in whom I trust. Thank you for delivering me from all the curse, no evil can befall me as I dwell and abide with you. Once you have done this don’t talk trash and fear about the curse. If you do, repent immediately and get immediately back into the secret place back into the shadow of the Almighty.
Until our next publication, I speak blessing into your life right now, receive it in the name of Jesus, confess it, and walk it out with thanksgiving.
Numbers 6:24-26 (KJV)
24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
