HEALTH, HEALING, AND MIRACLES – PART TWENTY-TWO

Greetings precious brothers and sisters and welcome back to this exciting Bible Study concerning the maintenance of health as well as the healings and miracles described in the ministry of our gold standard, the Lord Jesus. Last Sunday I had started a study concerning the feeding of the five-thousand and I will continue today. As you will recall, the main question is; where did the food come from? I had excluded a storehouse in Heaven or an impromptu creation of the needed food. I had then turned our attention to the third option which we are now exploring. First let us look again at the feeding of the five-thousand, however, this time from the Book of Mark.
Mark 6:35-44 (KJV)
35 And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:
36 Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
37 He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?
38 He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.
39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.
40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.
41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.
42 And they did all eat, and were filled.
43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.
We do not really learn anything new from the account taken from the Book of Mark. Of course, we see (hear) the same extraordinary miracle and there is the opportunity for our faith to be built. The main new information was how Jesus commanded that they sit down in companies and then our text explains what that looked like. God is very orderly, organized, commanding ranks and companies which combines authority and submission. In the Kingdom of God all are under authority and when fully submitted to that authority operate in a level of authority. We have seen this organization of ranks before.
Exodus 18:21 (KJV)
21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
So, where did the food to feed this crowd come from? Let’s start to answer that question with texts from the Book of Genesis.
Genesis 2:18 (KJV)
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Genesis 2:21-23 (KJV)
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
So where did Eve, the Woman, come from? She came from Adam, the Man. Let us think about Adam, the Man, for a moment, and ask ourselves “where did he come from?” His spirit man was of God (Genesis 1:26) just as the spirit of our children is of us, the man and the woman combined. We see in Genesis 2:7 that the body came from the dust of the earth. Why didn’t God just make the Woman in the same way he made the Man? I don’t have an answer to that question excepting that it is a clear mode of operation for God is use what is already available as opposed to creating something new. Have you ever wondered why God made the man first and not the woman? The male genders DNA is comprised of an X and a Y chromosome. X leads to female features and the Y to male features. The female gender DNA is comprised of two X chromosomes. This is why for example that there was no way the virgin Mary could give birth to a male child except by supernatural intervention. Likewise, the female Adam could not have given rise to a male Adam. However, the male Adam had the genetic (DNA) material for a female Adam. The ribs are rich in bone marrow. This bone marrow contains stem cells which are pluripotent cells, meaning they can differentiate into any other cell. I refer to this process of God bringing about the female Adam as the first use of adult stem cells. God used material already present, set aside time, and viola a woman. And viola enough food for a great multitude and twelve baskets left over. I will pick up with this same miracle next Sunday to solidify in our thinking how this miracle occurred. Hopefully you are already seeing great light.

26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
