IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE
Thursday – October 31, 2019, Cheshvan 2, 5780

Greetings dear friends and partners of this Ministry and welcome back to our powerful and detailed Bible Study of the Book of John. Our God is so wonderfully good to give us His Word in detail and with precision to guide our lives in this world into all the abundance He came and restored for those who will receive, believe, and do. It is not the will of God for anyone (zero people) to perish in finances or in their bodies or any other area of this life at any time for any reason. The quality and quantity of this life now and in eternity is the direct result of what we do with the Word of God, our response to the Word of God today. The Truth, not a corruption of the Word (Truth) is the way of abundance. The way we know if the word we are receiving, believing, and doing is uncorrupted or pure is to get into the Book (Bible) and study diligently separating Truth from fiction, and looking at the fruit of our lives. The featured pictures this week are of sunsets (no spiritual message intended), just enjoy. If you are reading this on Facebook take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to be a participant with this ministry in the dissemination of the gospel. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text by reading it aloud.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Perhaps today’s lesson will be a bit easier to receive and apply to our lives than yesterdays, then again perhaps not. We do not need and should not want an easy lesson but one that demands we change to be more like the Master. The relationship between a husband and a wife is to be similar to the relationship between Christ Jesus and the Church. Christ Jesus is the husband (groom) and the Church, each of us, are the bride. The following passage is lengthy but worthy of us giving consideration as we move into the second and third verses of our text.
Ephesians 5:25-33 (KJV)
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
I think we can all see the intimate intertwining of our relationship with the Lord Jesus and with our own wives and husbands. In this passage every use of the word love is Godly love, agape. See the coming of Christ Jesus and the availability of salvation as a marriage proposal. In ancient Israel once the prospective groom had access to the prospective bride, he would approach her and make a proposal just as Jesus has each one of us to receive Him. Access to the bride was obtained by Jesus at the Cross when He paid the price of sin, a dowry if you will, the price the devil demanded. However, the devil never imagined that Jesus could rise from the dead and his (the Serpents) grip on mankind forever be broken. The groom (Jesus) would come to the bride (us) and say I love you; I give you my life, I give you all that I am, I give you all that I have, I give you all. He would extend a goblet of wine. The prospective bride would either respond in like kind or decline. Have you received Jesus as Lord and Savior or have you declined? Donna and I exchanged these very words at our wedding, a most solemn pledge. Donna accepted my proposal and we are one. There was a day when I accepted the proposal of Jesus and became one with Him and the Father. Jesus did it, Jesus paid it all, and He tells us all just as that groom in ancient Israel, that there is plenty of room for you, I am going to prepare a very special place for you and I will return for you. In ancient Israel the groom would then go and prepare a home for the two of them and could only return for the bride when the father was satisfied that it was sufficient. One of these days the bridegroom at the direction of the Father is going to say to each of us at the Rapture (Catching Away) come up hither, all is ready!
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV)
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
