ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED

Monday – October 2, 2023, Tishrei 17, 5784

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to our delightful study of the Bible Book of Isaiah.  What a wonderful Book and what a loving God to give us insights, a lamp for our feet.  Before moving forward please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you.  Thank you so much for sharing.  The featured picture today of seven pillars is to remind us all to pray for the seven pillars of society.  The heathen are not going to be the ones to right our national ship, it must be the righteous.  Dear ones, each of us are responsible to be sure we are in the sphere of influence (pillar) God chose for us fully representing Him with excellence.  Are you ten times more excellent, a problem solver, in your call like the three Hebrew children and Daniel (Daniel 1:20)?  If not, why not?

Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.   

Isaiah 45:17-19 (KJV)

17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Today and likely for a few days deal with the topic of Israel and the Church.  Let me just say right up front that I totally reject the teachings that the Church has replaced Israel.  That is so called replacement theology.  When I am referring to Israel, and the seventeenth verse above is referring to Israel, it should be taken as referring to those of the natural blood of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  The ironic thing is that it was by the Jews that Jesus came, Jesus is a Jew, and redemption became available to all but they rejected Him.  There is no way to Heaven, to the Father, except by Jesus, period.  So, the Jewish people do not have some sort of special dispensation of Grace.  However, once the time of the Gentiles is complete, full, which appears to be up until the time of the Catching Away of the Church.  Do not misunderstand, anyone can be saved during the Tribulation Time and this is when the Jews, Israel, will be saved.

Revelation 7:1-4 (KJV)

1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Jew and Gentile alike may be saved in the time of the Tribulation particularly the Great Tribulation which is the final three and one years of the seven-year tribulation.

Revelation 7:9 (KJV)
⁹ After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Revelation 7:13-14 (KJV)

13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I have not forgotten that my topic is “Israel shall be saved”.  I am laying a foundation for our understanding.  Israel will be a nation before God forever.
