JOINT-HEIRS – PART ONE
Sunday – March 1, 2020, Adar 5, 5780

Greetings to all of our beautiful (all of you) and precious friends and partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. God is so good dear saints. Also, welcome back to this Sunday teaching series, today I will start a five part series on the topic about being a joint-heir. We are family dear ones, we are heirs, and have already inherited (past tense) in Christ Jesus. Each one reading please prayerfully consider being a financial partner with this Ministry becoming a part in the doing and the reward of all the Lord leads us to do. Follow the leading of the Lord. No Ministry or business operates on fresh air and best wishes. These posts are the most visible part of this Ministry, the Teaching arm, but there is also the Sabbatical Moments arm which reaches out to discouraged pastors, and the Conference arm. Ladies be sure you have your flyer and have registered for the upcoming Women’s Conference on the 30th of May 2020 themed “The Virtuous Woman” to be held at New Beginnings Church of God, Waterville, Maine. If you would like a poster and flyers for your Church please contact Donna. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and expand the reach of this Ministry.
As I mentioned above my topic today is about being a joint-heir. Being a joint-heir is considerably different than being an heir as in our natural families. In the natural an heir gets a portion or the whole of a finite inheritance. Not so for us in the Kingdom of God. We have an unmeasurable inheritance which is spiritual for now and eternity and natural for now and eternity. There will always be an earth with heavens and they will be natural just like now (Isaiah 66:22, 2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1 [3 witnesses]). You may be wondering about the picture for this series. The man in the middle represents the Father, the man on the left (or right) represents Jesus, and the other man represents each one of us individually. Now, let’s look at some Scripture concerning we, the children of God, being joint-heirs.
Romans 8:15-17 (KJV)
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Dear saints we are not in bondage to the devil and the awful curse of the law of sin and death. We have been made free of the curse by the sacrifice of Calvary, victory in Hell, the Resurrection, and the restoration of Jesus as the second person of the Triune Co-equal God. Upon declaring Jesus as Lord, we were adopted into the family of God. I understand that by Hebrew Law an adopted child has the same rights as the first-born male which is the blessing of the first-born and the double portion. Jesus is the first-born and we share equally in His salvation. The word or phrase joint-heir can be interpreted as a participant in common. This is like the situation between a husband (Jesus) and wife (Church) in a Covenant marriage the husband and wife have equal ownership of the things in the marriage like the home and so on. In a Biblical Blood Covenant marriage all things are held in common, nothing is held back by the husband or the wife. To hold back is to not enter into a Biblical Blood Covenant marriage but a secular marriage covenant. We are participants in common, joint-heirs, with Christ Jesus in all that was made spiritual and physical, all.
Hebrews 1:2-3 (KJV)
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
John 1:3 tells us that all things (what would be excluded from all things?) were made by Him, Jesus, the Word before the womb of Mary.
John 1:3 (KJV)
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
All creation, all change is brought about by words, spoken faith filled words. When I say all creation, I am still speaking about spiritual and physical. Spiritual includes the abode of God, third Heaven and all spiritual beings including us. I know this seems, off course, to be one of my rabbit trails, but I want us to understand that we are heir of all, in Him. We are joint-heirs in all that is spiritual and physical or we might say Heavenly and earthly. Like Jesus today, we are spiritual and physical creations. Our spirit man is of God and our physical man is of the earth (Genesis 2:7). This gives us citizenship and authority in both the spiritual and physical realms (Heaven and earth). Our inheritance in Christ Jesus, being joint-heirs with Him, is in Heaven and in earth. Consider the Truth of the following familiar verse.
Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Jesus has given us His name, His power of attorney, to exercise authority in Heaven and in earth for now and forevermore.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
