AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

Greetings to our precious friends and partners of this Ministry and followers of The Three Minute Word blog. We welcome you back to this wonderfully powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. God is so good to give us His Word taking the guesswork out of what His will is and what we are to do. Please take a few moments at this time to share this teaching extending our reach of the gospel, of the Truth. The featured image today depicts Jesus upon His Throne in Heaven, the One of highest authority in the Church. Since each Spirit baptized believer has the very highest level of authority (delegated by Jesus) and the Power (Blessing) to back it up why are the heathen running everything and why do they have all the money? Why do the heathen control the gates of every sphere of influence (pillars, mountains)? Where is the Scripture for the heathen being the head and the Church being the tail? The Serpent has beguiled the Church which thinks our current situation is the will of God. What an affront to our God! Jesus is heir of all (notice all – spiritual and physical) and we are joint-heirs (participants in common) with Him.
Hebrews 1:2 (KJV)
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
When will we stop being suckered by the wiles of the devil, the traditions of men, and the doctrine of demons? When will we stop playing the victim card and start playing the king in me card? Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible Study and primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 20:17-19 (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
What an absolute honor and privilege our Lord accorded Mary Magdalene that day by appearing to her as the risen and restored Savior. He is risen, fully restored as the Second Person of co-equal Triune God and is taking His precious Blood to the Mercy Seat of Heaven. All the attributes of God are restored and he has an immortal flesh and bone body. One might ask why her and I don’t have a full answer to that question. However, Jesus had told us that they who are forgiven much will love much. He had cast seven demons out of her.
Mark 16:9-10 (KJV)
9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
Mary Magdalene did not desert Jesus during the crucifixion and was fully prepared to minister to Him in death, that is why she is here and has not gone home to mourn.
John 19:25 (KJV)
25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
Love and faithfulness will bring the manifestation of the risen Savior into our lives today just as it did her life that day. Now, let’s turn our attention briefly from this to at least some of the Words the Father spoke in raising Jesus from the dead (spiritual and physical) found in the Book of Hebrews.
Hebrews 1:10-14 (KJV)
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Notice the Father refers to Jesus, the Son, the Word, as Lord in verse ten above. This word ‘Lord’ is the Greek word transliterated to English as kyrios meaning the one supreme in authority according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Does having authority equal control?

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
