LOVED THEM AS THOU HAS LOVED ME

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this enlightening and powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible. The featured picture today is from the 20th of September at the Longhorn in Augusta, Maine. God is so very good to give us His Word. There is no mystery about the obligations and benefits of being in His family, His Kingdom. How long will we be slack? Let us choose to be like Caleb and fully occupy our Promised Land purchased by the precious Blood of Jesus.
Numbers 13:30-32 (KJV)
30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
How long will we choose to bring evil reports to ourselves, to each other, to the Church, and even to the world? How long will we not receive, believe, think, speak, and act upon the Word of God? Are we going to continue to preach how wonderful the promises (really present realities by faith) of God are but then put them off into the sweet bye and bye? Dear saints we have important work to do now in the Kingdom of God.
Numbers 13:27-29 (KJV)
27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.
28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
The ten spies who had gone into the Promised Land got off to a good start with their report but soon got theirs eyes off the Word of God and onto their own reasoning. Let us abandon our evil reports and choose the reports of the Lord.
Isaiah 53:1 (KJV)
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
The Arm (capitalized due to the divine person of the Holy Spirit) of the Lord is revealed to those who believe! Now let’s turn our attention to our study of the Book of John and read the text aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:20-23 (KJV)
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Wow, the week is certainly whizzing by, are we making the best use of our time? Are we doing things with eternal consequences for us and others or are we just frittering away our time? Are we living very natural lives or supernatural lives? Now a supernatural life is not walking around singing the Hallelujah chorus and having a far away look in our eyes. A supernatural life will look on first glace like a very natural life but upon a closer look we will see it is conformed to the will (Word) of God and the Power of God at work in our lives. The things (works) the Father did through Jesus (John 14:12) will start popping in our life and then the greater works will start to manifest (Isaiah 61). The Word of God, our call, the still small voice (the inner witness) will be the guide of our life, minute to minute, day to day. In this way, in this place, the world will start to witness the evidence that the Father sent Jesus into the world. The evidence is dramatically changed lives with things happening that just don’t happen to the children of the Devil. Next, we come to perhaps one of the most amazing phrases in all of Scripture; “and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me”. Wow, the Father loves us every bit as much as Jesus. Can we but humbly bow before Him and give Him all of us?
Next, we find Jesus telling the Father that He wants us with Him.
John 17:24 (KJV)
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Jesus is telling the Father that He wants those who believe upon Him to be with Him in Heaven, where ever He (Jesus) is, He wants us there. The reason I have phrased this as I did is because we are not and neither is Jesus going to be in Heaven all the time in the life to come. Just think about the Millennial reign of Christ and us with Him in the earth. Just as we like to testify and for people to see all the goodness (glory) God has brought into our lives so does Jesus. Jesus wants us to see all the Father has done from “before the foundation of the world”. Look at this in another translation of the Bible.
John 17:24 (MSG)
24 Father, I want those you gave me To be with me, right where I am, So they can see my glory, the splendor you gave me, Having loved me Long before there ever was a world.
I don’t know about you but I want to see Him, be with Him, see the glory, the splendor, the Father has bestowed upon our Savior.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
