DO ALL OPINIONS HAVE THE SAME WEIGHT?

Are all opinions equal? It seems there is this idea that all opinions have equal weight or validity but is that true? Whether you know it or not, whether you believe it or not, there are spiritual laws which in turn govern natural laws that apply to all. Many of us learn about these various laws spiritual and natural through the school of hard knocks. That is not necessary for us to attend the school of hard knocks. We have access to the One who knows all and upholds all spiritual and natural law.
Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Of course, I am talking about Jesus the way into the Kingdom of God. On entering the Kingdom of God, the Holy Spirit (all knowledge, all Power, all places present) comes to dwell within. Do thoughts, words, and actions contrary to the Laws of God get the same result as thoughts, words, or actions that align with the Kingdom of God laws? The Apostle Paul had this to say.
1 Corinthians 14:10 (KJV)
10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
There are many voices, opinions, points of view, and all of them have significance. Some of them are righteous or right according to God and some of them are unrighteous or wicked according to God. The standard is God whether you believe it or not accept it or not. Our believing or not believing does not change the Truth. There are thoughts, words, and actions that lead us into or maintain us in the protections of Heaven and those that open the door for our demonic enemies to steal, kill, and destroy. Let’s see what Jesus says about this issue.
Luke 6:47-49 (KJV)
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
When your house, your thoughts, words, and actions are based anchored in the Word of God you are unshakeable. That is not the case when we are basing our lives on other thoughts, words, and actions. So, you see all words do indeed have significance. The Words of God keep you on the secure way of salvation. Other words make you lion or wolf bait. Listen to the Word of the Lord through Moses.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Deuteronomy 28:15 (KJV)
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Listen to the Holy Spirit as He speaks through the Apostle Paul.
Ephesians 6:10-13 (KJV)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
TAKE HOME:
- All thoughts, words, and actions are not of equal validity for there is an eternal standard, God’s standard.
- Abiding in the ways of God provides a sure foundation, all other ways are subject to destruction.
- Throwing ourselves entirely upon the Lord will bring us through the evil days of our lives when the enemy looks to deceive and destroy us.
As the Lord wills, I will return with fresh revelation tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
