Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus from The Three Minute Word publications of Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. I have posted a map of these United States as a way to remind us all to pray for this nation, for the many governments across the land. Our prayer is for a return to righteousness, a return to honoring the covenant between the Almighty God and this nation. Early voting has already started and final voting occurs two weeks from today in this election cycle. You and I have a covenant stewardship responsibility 
to vote. Not for a third party candidate, not leaving the top of the ticket open, and not embracing the demise of America as a Judeo-Christian nation as outlined in the Democratic Party Platform. The key to the healing of this land is for we the people of God, who are called by His name to turn from our wickedness. We keep waiting for the heathen to straighten up, give me a break, we are the ones with the flashlights.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
If our land is not healed (will be gradual with rapid spurts) then one of two things is happening. One is that the people of God have not turned from their wicked ways. Two, the Word of God is just plain untrue. I pick option one. Now back to our text.
Ephesians 2:4-7 (KJV)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
I want us to give some focus and thought to verse six above. Notice how it is written in the God’s Word translation.
Ephesians 2:6 (GW)
6 God has brought us back to life together with Christ Jesus and has given us a position in heaven with him.
Jesus died spiritually first at Calvary then He subsequently released His spirit man resulting in His physical death. Jesus was not just raised from the dead but He was resurrected being given an incorruptible body. His spirit was made alive by the Holy Spirit (Grace) which is the eternal Spirit who imparts eternal life. Additionally Jesus was restored fully as God (Hebrews chapter one). The Messiah died physically and spiritually so that we could live forever with Him physically and spiritually. Our quickening has empowered us to do all that the Anointed One did in the earth and the greater things. The works of the devil are defeated, sin is set aside, authority is restored, and The Blessing is back. We can now legally carry out the full will of God. We have been restored to the family of God, we are again of like kind with God, and we are again in His image and likeness. We are family! We are not some other species, we are in all ways like our Father, our God. We are not God, the Scripture is clear, but it is also clear that we are gods.
The phrase “hath raised us up together, and made us sit” in the King James Version and “has given us a position in heaven with him” in the God’s Word version is a present and eternal reality at the point of our being a new creation. This is again aorist tense and active voice meaning that it was, it is, and it will continue to be. As we continue we see the phrase “made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” implying that we had no choice and were made (by force) to sit. Nothing could be further from the truth, the better word here in the place of ‘made’ would be ‘given’. It was, is, and will continue to be available to us, to be seated in Heaven in Christ Jesus. We are in Christ Jesus. Jesus is our Lord, the One of highest authority in our life. Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, and the One who made it possible for us to be children of God with Heaven as our home. Jesus is the Christ, the Anointed One, and the One to show us the way to be like our Father. Finally, but far from least, Christ is the Holy Spirit of God, the Power of God who maintains all at the Word of Jesus. You and I are kings and priests, we are seated in Heaven and earth as ruling kings, and we are standing in Heaven and earth as intercessors between other men and God. As I finish today, be clear that we are now seated in Heaven in Christ Jesus and we are simultaneously seated here in the earth. Physical science, quantum physics, have demonstrated that it is possible for a single electron to be in two places simultaneously and for both manifestations of the same electron to act in concert. Remember to take Heaven’s view.
