SEATED IN HEAVEN
Tuesday – June 25, 2019, Sivan 22, 5779
Greetings my precious brothers and sisters in Christ, and we extend the warmest greetings as well to those who have not decided to make Jesus Lord. These structures and others are where the real Church gathers to develop their battle plans. Now let’s turn to our study by first reading our primary Bible text aloud.
John 10:34-38 (KJV)
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
When I left off yesterday, I was talking about how Jesus (the Word) was sent by the Father into the world holy and blameless (sanctified) and so were (are) we. Most people are looking to go to Heaven not return to Heaven, however, the reality is that we are on assignment from Heaven. At the point of our salvation our spirit man (not the soul part) was raised up and seated with and in Jesus at the right hand of the Father. I have reviewed this before but will again now for it is very important that we have Heaven’s view of the world and not the worlds view of Heaven. We are citizens of Heaven and are on assignment in the earth. Citizens are persons born in a country or adopted by that country as one submits to its’ laws and customs, in this case Heaven.
Philippians 3:20-21 (AMP)
20 But we are citizens of the state (commonwealth, homeland) which is in heaven, and from it also we earnestly and patiently await [the coming of] the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] Savior,
21 Who will transform and fashion anew the body of our humiliation to conform to and be like the body of His glory and majesty, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself.
We are ambassadors from Heaven the place of our citizenship and our Head (Lord) who is Jesus and Father on assignment in the earth to do and say only what Jesus, what the Father says (just like Jesus in His earthly ministry and now).
2 Corinthians 5:20 (KJV)
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
By definition an ambassador is not sent to their own country but to another, a foreign country. In that foreign country they are to live like the sending country (Heaven) and are not subject to the laws of the foreign country (darkness). We are to live like Heaven not the world, there is opulence everywhere in Heaven, and we are to live in divine health, there is no sickness in Heaven. I hope the reality of this spiritual Truth is getting into our soul and causing an overwhelming joy of who we are in Him. Now let us consider the following Scriptures establishing (by two or three witnesses) the fact that we are even now seated in Heaven (our spirit man).
Ephesians 2:6 (AMP)
6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
We have joint seating with Christ Jesus in Heaven, now, not later on in the sweet by and by. Consider the following.
Hebrews 12:22 (HCSB)
22 Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God (the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels in festive gathering,
We have already come to the Mount Zion, the Heavenly Jerusalem, Heaven itself. Jesus said that He was in Heaven and earth simultaneously.
John 3:13 (AMP)
13 And yet no one has ever gone up to heaven, but there is One Who has come down from heaven—the Son of Man [Himself], Who is (dwells, has His home) in heaven.
Until Jesus there were no sinless persons to go to Heaven, the Old Testament saints were held in the Bosom of Abraham. At salvation we are sinless, Jesus was without a corrupted nature on arrival therefore although having shed what made Him God nonetheless also sat in Heaven (Spirit man). Lord willing, I will pick up here tomorrow.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
