WHO IS MANNING THE MEDIA MOUNTAIN GATES?

Greetings dear saints, sons of God and all others joining. Welcome to this enlightening and inspiring study of the Seven Mountains also referred to as pillars or gates. Today we will focus on the “Media Mountain”. Remember, whoever controls the gates to a city in ancient times controlled the city. In the context of these teachings when I use the word “controlled” I am not saying it as making one do this or that but as the ones having the greatest influence. Who controls the gates to the Media Mountains and who is having the greatest influence on the world view of the Media Mountains today? Do you remember this Scripture?
Deuteronomy 28:13 (KJV)
13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
Are Christians controlling the gates and are they sprinkled throughout? It would appear to me that the gates and the various levels of media are entirely controlled by evil. Jesus said you could tell them by their fruit. What is the fruit of the Media Mountains? Are the members of the Church called into the Media Mountain bringing a Judeo-Christian world view and showing the goodness (glory) of God on the job and in their life? Are you the problem at work or are you the go to problem solver?
Prayer for Media, likewise each of the Mountains, Pillars, Gates.
I call all persons in the Media Mountain saved and coming to the knowledge of the Truth. I send the ministering spirits into the harvest; and I declare that the Word of God (Seed) is producing a harvest. Mercy upon each person in the Media Mountain. I pray for media to see and report the events of this world not just through an economic, historical or geopolitical lens but through a Judeo-Christian lens as well. I pray that a fame of Jesus Christ is spread abroad.
In the time of Jesus word of mouth and written communication were the mediums of media. Today the number of sources of information has exploded, it boggles the mind. For example, medical knowledge currently doubles every 73 days compared with every 3.5 years in 2010, and 50 years in 1950 according to a google search. This reminds me of this Scripture.
Daniel 12:4 (KJV)
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
I think many agree that we are at the time of the end. By the way, the end will not come until the body of Christ aligns with the clear criteria outlined in Scripture. We cover much of it in the teachings concerning the Religion Mountain. People are certainly running to and fro with no satisfaction that lasts. Knowledge is certainly increasing at breathtaking rates. That applies not just to dark knowledge (secular) but the revelation of Truth (light). Let’s take a look at how news spread quickly even in the time of Jesus and so it is today except we have cell phones as well as person to person contact. The first example is when Jesus comes out of the wilderness of temptation having passed the test Adam failed.
Luke 4:13-15 (KJV)
13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
The second example is from the Day of Pentecost.
Acts 2:1-6 (KJV)
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
As a side note this idea of being “filled” with the Holy Spirit is one difficult to understand, or maybe it is just me. At salvation the Holy Spirit comes to live, abide, stay with, in us and we become one spirit.
1 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
In several Scriptures we see the Holy Spirit fall upon, in other like our text it came upon but they were also filled with Him. This word filled literally means an increase. Then we see evidence of this filling manifesting in the person speaking a language they do not know. Jesus told them at His departure that they would receive Power when the Holy Spirit came upon them.
Acts 1:8 (KJV)
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
This Power was of the Holy Spirit and was to be a witness of Jesus, a showing of the glory of God. Bottom line, when we ask for and receive the Holy Spirit coming upon us manifested by speaking in tongues (a language previously unknown to the speaker) which is a prayer language we also receive miracle working Power.
TAKE HOME:
- Christians are called to be the gates of the Media Mountain and all the other mountains. We are empowered to be the head and not beneath, above and not below.
- Some in the body of Christ are called to the Media Mountain and they are called to be the head and not the tail at whatever level they function.
- Word of mouth was and is a powerful media channel.
