SEVEN MOUNTAINS OR PILLARS – PART THREE

THE WORD CLEANSES AND MATURES

Greetings dear saints, sons of God and all others joining. Welcome to this enlightening and inspiring study of the Seven Mountains also referred to as pillars or gates. I will be continuing today with the “Religion Mountain”. Whoever controls the gates to a city in ancient times controlled the city. In the context of these teachings when I use the word “controlled” I am not saying it as making one do this or that but as the ones having the greatest influence. How do we, the Church, individually and as a body are rising in every arena of life because the glory of God is upon us and all are drawn to the light.

As we are preparing to move forward let’s ask ourselves a question. What ideas are being allowed and promoted through the various gates of our society? Hideous wickedness is being promoted and even imposed on all including the righteous little by little. It is out in the open raging on the streets of America and controlling the gates of all seven mountains. Yesterday we looked at Isaiah chapter five then moved into Ephesians chapter four. We found the following two verses which are essential to the Church and for growth individually, as a body, and to be leaven for the culture in which we live.

Ephesians 4:11-12 (KJV)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

These Church leaders are raised up by God, and their anointing becomes visible to all. These shepherds are to lead all in their care into all the Truth for it is only the Truth that makes us free. Each and every one of us have a ministry in the body of Christ and it is in one or more of the seven mountains that form the fabric of our culture. With the exception of the Five-Fold Ministry leaders of any congregation, the body at large, the ministry of the vast majority is in the seven mountains. This is even if you are serving in some capacity in the local Church under the Five-Fold Ministers. An example would be parking lot attendant, greeter, janitor etc. So, what is the endpoint of this perfecting or maturing of each of us?

Ephesians 5:26-27 (KJV)

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Jesus, the Word, is currently sanctifying and cleansing each of us, that is those with ears to hear, with His Word. His will is to have a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle, holy and without blemish. Well, how are we doing? What if what one is hearing on Sunday and in other groups is psychobabble, traditions of men, doctrines of demons, and sacred cows. That is not the Church He is coming back to bring to and present to the Father. We must hear the Truth with ears to hear followed by confessing and doing the Truth. All that is not the Truth must be displaced by Truth. This is not just a collecting of information that we can regurgitate as needed but revelation that governs our lives. That doesn’t mean that we forget as in wiping from our memory all other information, it means that we recognize it for what it is. Our faith, what we are fully persuaded of, is in the Word of God.  

We are being prepared for a face to face with the Father. Our focus is on verse 24, I have included the immediately surrounding verses for context.

1 Corinthians 15:22-26 (KJV)

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Just as a groom might present his wife to his parents with great joy so does Christ want to do the same in presenting His bride, the Church, to the Father.

TAKE HOME:

1. The Word of God is the cleansing agent for our lives and also the Power for our lives.
2. We are in the process (like making sausage) of becoming the glorious Church.
3. We are the bride of Christ and He is preparing us to meet His and our Heavenly Father.
