THE GREATER THINGS – PART THREE
Greetings to all of our dear and precious friends and partners. Welcome back to this Sunday teaching series which is of varied topics. Today I will continue teaching on “The Greater Things” that Jesus spoke about and we are commanded to do. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible to increase the spread of the good news (gospel), the Truth.
I am sure you are all very aware that a critical election is drawing near and this is a presidential year. Election day is November 3, 2020. There is a lot of Bible Numerology in this date. November is the eleventh month and eleven is the number of alignment with God. Three is a number of spiritual perfection. Twenty is the number of redemption. The twenty is repeated therefore our redemption is in Christ who is the Word. Vote according to the Word. Study Psalm 2, same as now, the heathen are raging in a last-ditch effort, before the great awakening, to throw off the restraints of righteousness. You may or may not like President Trump but he has unabashedly supported the right to life of the unborn, there is no greater friend of Israel, and he has stood firmly to prevent infringement of the Second Amendment (the right of self-defense and the prevention of tyranny), the amendment upon which the others depend. God the giver of all life firmly supports all life born or not (Proverbs 6:17). God tells us in Genesis 12:1-3 that blessing Israel is close to His heart and He will bless those who bless Israel and He will curse those who curse Israel. God is all about self-defense (Luke 22:36). I am not aware of a single Democrat who is pro-life, pro-Israel, and Pro-Second Amendment. Plan to vote and vote according to Scripture.
Now, to our primary lesson. We seek to bring all people with ears to hear and eyes to see out of the bondage of the traditions of men and the doctrines of demons into His marvelous light. The featured picture today is to depict people engaged in what the media has called peaceful protests which the dullest of people can see are violent and make no sense at all. This is the work of the devils, the god(s) of this world who rule in deception, confusion, and chaos with the sole intent of stealing, killing, and destroying. Jesus has called us to restore truthfulness, restore the stolen things seven fold, bring life to the dead things, and build in excellence the places of destruction. Now, let’s look at the Scriptural foundation for our authority and the Power needed to accomplish all that our Heavenly Father requires of us. First the Words of Jesus straight from the Father.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
So, what are the “greater works”, greater things? First let’s consider the things that Jesus did and recognize a major clue to the greater things which relates directly to the featured picture. The featured picture from a national news feed is a graphic of the violence with which we are all to familiar. This results in destruction, the tearing down of communities, a distrust of government, and decreased trust and stability in society in general. A great deal of this has been going on since Jesus ascended to the Right Hand of the Father. In the United States there has been a full throttle effort to tear down all righteousness since early 20th century. The greater things are to not only reverse and take dominion over the curse but to restore and build what the enemy has torn down. As we move forward let me remind us all of the seven eternal mandates, commands of God. We are to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue the earth (Genesis 1:28), take care of our garden, guard our garden, and not mix good and evil (Genesis 2:15-17). To accomplish this God gave mankind all authority and the Power to back it up. God does not change, this still stands and was restored by Jesus to those who are born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. When Jesus started His earthly ministry, we find Him reading from chapter 61 of the Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 61:1-2 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Jesus did not read the second half of verse two but stopped with the phrase “To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD”. Why? Vengeance or the bringing of justice was not yet, it came with Calvary and the Resurrection and all in between as does all that follows in this chapter. As I end for this week, consider the following verse.
Isaiah 61:4 (KJV)
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
Do you see any need for this? Do we have any record of Jesus building old wastes and so on? Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
