AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH
Saturday – September 5, 2020, Elul 16, 5780
THE PLACE OF SAFETY – PART SIXTEEN
Give thanks and praise the Lord our God for He is good and He is nothing but good! Greetings dear ones and welcome back to this Saturday series titled “The Place of Safety”. Before we take the dive into this teaching please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of the Truth and this Ministry. Also, those of you reading this who are not financial partners of this Ministry take a moment before the Lord to consider becoming a partner. If you are being strengthened, benefited by this ministry, contributing to this ministry is one of the ways one lays up treasure in Heaven. It also helps us to bring this message of victory for the spirit and physical realms. It empowers us to bring real on the ground encouragement to other saints of God especially His ministers of the gospel. Sometimes when we lift up someone in a carnal thing, we remove an impediment to being lifted up spiritually. When we stand along side and swat the carnal thing out of the way we can then minister in the far more important spiritual realm. As they shift their focus and are strengthened spiritually, they will recognize the enemy’s distractions and do their own swatting in the future, in their own lives, and others. Swatting is to resist the devil in the name of Jesus and declare the Word of God, just for clarity.
I teach on the thoughts of our minds and the words of our mouth a great deal for they determine if we have defeat or victory in our lives. You will recall the following Scripture, focus on the (a) portion, the (b) portion is an example.
Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. (Bold added)
Whatever the condition of our lives at this moment it is what we believe in our thought life and it is what is coming from our mouth that we believe. Many times, idle words are coming from our mouth because we know it is the expected thing to say but we don’t believe it. A lot of that kind of talk is found in Church and among Christian groups unfortunately. How do we know that is true? What is the fruit? Jesus said that sooner or later what we really believe will come out of our mouth, perhaps only in private but it still will produce either evil or good fruit (things).
Matthew 12:34-37 (KJV)
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Who is Jesus talking too? He is talking to us! Am I a good man or an evil man? What is manifesting in my life? Idle words are words that are not coupled with faith and are therefore do not please the Father. As Scripture says let our yes be yes and our no be no. Let us speak only what we believe and that according to the Word of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Consider the following Bible translation of verse thirty-seven.
Matthew 12:37 (YLT)
37 for from thy words thou shalt be declared righteous, and from thy words thou shalt be declared unrighteous.’
Righteousness keeps us in the place of safety, unrighteousness gives the enemy a place in our lives and gives him the right to steal, kill, and destroy. He is able to obtain a judgment against us. Which sounds best to you, righteousness and safety or unrighteousness and peril? As I close for today, I want to talk for a moment about tempting God. Tempting God is a demonic deception and takes us out of the place of safety and opens us up to stealing, killing, and destroying. We have seen people (Church people) tempting God during the COVID-19 and calling it faith but in reality, it is false faith and at the core rebellion which is of the devil. Listen to Jesus.
Luke 4:9-12 (KJV)
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Who is leading Jesus to test the Scripture? The Devil! How would that have worked out for Jesus had He jumped? No angels would have come and He would have gone splat for it was not led of God. Who was leading Pastors and others to return to Church when authorities were saying not too and then exceed attendance levels? The devil! Could this explain the deaths we have seen in Churches throughout the States? God will never ever lead us to break the laws of the land, offend our neighbor, or show the absence of love for our neighbor. Scripture is clear, always be led of the Holy Spirit and the Truth and not the devil tempting the Lord. Wear your mask and obey the law! We are told in Scripture in one place only to test or prove Him, and that is concerning the rewards of tithing.
Malachi 3:10 (KJV)
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. (Bold added)
Lord willing, I will pick up here in two weeks. Next week will be a Position Paper on COVID-19 regarding this Ministry.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
