I FORMED THEE
Greetings precious saints of God, rejoice for we who are in the Kingdom of God are sealed unto the day of our full redemption! Oh, what a day dear ones! If you are reading this and not in the Kingdom of God, don’t let another second go by, cry out to the Lord Jesus the only Savior. Now, let’s focus our attention on today’s primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 44:1-5 (KJV)
1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
5 One shall say, I am the LORD’S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
Today, I will pick up with verse two above and consider the origins of the Jewish people. The Jewish people starting with Abram/Abraham are the legal, Blood Covenant, conduit through which the Messiah came and birthed the Church. The Lord is saying, I am not only responsible for your being here but I will take care of you. Is this the same obligation, responsibility, of natural parents? Many have the idea that God could just send the Savior whenever He pleased even worse some believe that God planned for man to fail. We would all do well to throw many of our denominational doctrines, even our denominational identification, in the sea of forgetfulness and thoughtfully study the Bible. We need to identify with the Lord Jesus, our Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit and Kingdom of God business. Let us keep in mind that the idea of a womb can be more than a physical place in a female body. Not only can it be a place for a child to grow temporarily but an idea of the mind. An idea is conceived in the mind and given birth too in the natural.
The idea of the Messiah was conceived in the Father’s mind if His man should choose to fall (sin). I don’t really like the word “fall” for it can convey the idea of an accidental event. When we sin, it is not by accident, period. God found the man Abram, later named Abraham by God, with whom He could make a Blood Covenant to provide a legal way of entry for the Christ into the earth. Think about it, it took two thousand years to find this man and it would take another two thousand for Jesus, the Christ (Messiah) to come into the earth. In the meantime, there has been untold suffering by mankind, from Adam to Abraham, from Abraham to Christ, and Christ to now. Would you tell me that this was the will of God. Could we perhaps consider it as the will of man mostly by rebellion and willful ignorance.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
