THE WORLD HATES YOU

Greetings to the dear and precious friends and partners of this Ministry and blog. Also, welcome back to this Bible Study of the Book of John. God is nothing but good, He is the One who has provided for an abundant life not stealing, killing, and destroying. God does not put any plague (Corona Virus) upon His people or anyone else but must allow the consequences of bad choices. Bad choices at their foundation are rebellion against God, the Word of God. God created man as a freewill being and gave them dominion in the earth. We, the Church (filled with the Holy Spirit), have the same authority in the earth and access to the same Power as Adam before the fall (sin), and Jesus in the earth. With few exceptions there is little to no evidence of this authority and Power in the Church. The Church is in serious shape like the Church at Laodicea pictured above. Listen to what the Head of the Church said to them.
Revelation 3:16-20 (KJV)
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
If this does not describe the Church today, I don’t know what would. We (Pentecostals) make a lot of noise but in our walk and fruit we are lukewarm at best. We think we are in great shape when in the eyes of God, in the eyes of the Scripture, we are in pitiful shape. Jesus is saying our works are hay and stubble and will be burned up in the judgment, and we need some pure gold. We need to get the Anointed Word of God in our eyes (and ears) 24/7 dear ones. Let us arise as one man. Let us zealously seek after His rebuke and chastening (teaching) and turn from our wickedness. Why in the world is our Lord outside trying to get our attention? Let us turn from our own way to His way, which is a far better way. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible Study and read our primary text aloud.
John 15:16-19 (KJV)
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
As we continue with our primary Bible text, we find Jesus telling them and us that the world has hated Him and they are going to hate us. If they do not hate us, we must ask ourselves, why? I am not sure it is a whole lot of consolation knowing they hated Him, Jesus, first but it does put us in good company. A central question for us to consider is this. What will we do with the knowledge that the world hates us? Whose opinion of us matters the most? Is the opinion of the world more important to us than that of God? Do we have to stay in good standing with the world because they are our source? God’s opinion of us is infinitely more important than any other person.
God is our source. No one in the world can stand in our way when the Grace of God is working on our behalf and no one in the world can harm us when we walk in God’s ways, the way of love. A lot of hatred was expressed towards Jesus in His earthly ministry and death threats but no one at any time could lay a finger on Him until He surrendered Himself for the Cross. We are not called to physically die for Christ; we are called to walk as He walked bearing much fruit for eternity. The way of love (agape) is obedience to the commands of God and loving one another as He loved and loves us. The world will hate us when we don’t do things their way but do things the Kingdom of God way, and they can no longer control us. Right now, the world, the world system, is running the show. When will we take our place as the government of God with authority in the earth with supernatural Power released with our faith filled words?
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
