THIS IS MY COMMANDMENT
Monday – April 6, 2020, Nisan 12, 5780

Greetings to our wonderful and beautiful friends who follow this Ministry and those who partner with us financially. Also, welcome back to this engaging and in-depth Bible Study of the Book of John. Jesus says often in Scripture we must choose to have ears to hear. Don’t just hear this study as noise in your ears. Ask the Lord to help us hear and do the Spiritual Truths contained herein. Dear ones understanding of the Word of God will not just happen automatically, it must be done purposefully and prayerfully. The same is true for us to think like God thinks, talk like God talks, and do as God does. Yes, yes, yes, that is possible but it must be purposeful and practiced. And yes, we will stand out like a sore thumb, yes, we will be persecuted due to envy and jealousy, but we will be like Him and make real differences in peoples lives just like Him (Jesus). Let’s decide to make a difference for eternity. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and to expand the reach of this powerful Ministry. Remember that we are always receiving financial partners and have exciting projects in the works to build the Kingdom of God. The featured picture today is of bluebonnets on our ranch in Texas. Now let’s start shifting our focus to the lesson at hand and start by reading our primary Bible text aloud.
John 15:12-15 (KJV)
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
As you will recall we are in the last hours of Jesus Ministry in the earth and He is downloading big time upon those present and us today. These are Truths to guide our lives. God is so good. As we look at verse twelve (twelve is the number of God’s perfect government which is the Church in the earth today) we find Jesus giving a command. We have studied at quite some length that doing the commands of God is our love of God. When we don’t do the commands (Word of God) we are demonstrating contempt for God, whereas doing the commands demonstrates our love of God. Really quite simple. Doing the commands brings the love of God into our lives and with-it super abundance, life here as it is in Heaven. Failure to do the commands of God brings and maintains the curse in our lives which is all kinds of stealing, killing, and destroying. It does not seem on the surface that this would be a real hard choice but we see stealing, killing, and destroying all around us and in our own lives. So, what can we conclude? The conclusion, the truth is that we and they are not doing the commands of God. Again, really pretty simple. How do we change this? We find out the will of God, we repent of not doing the will of God, and then we do the will of God. Until we do, the devil has us captive at his will.
Jesus goes on to say that they and us (disciples, believers) are to love one another as He has loved them and us. Looks like a tall order and it is, but very doable by His Grace, but only if we want too do it. Love, real love, agape, is always a choice and cannot at anytime be dependent upon emotion or natural appearances and circumstances. We have the love (agape) of God shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5), it is part of our spiritual DNA straight from the Father. It is one of the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Like any fruit, it must be nurtured and anything that hinders its ongoing growth pruned (cleansed by the Word of God) out of our lives. The love that Jesus has towards us is agape, and we have agape in our spiritual DNA (fruit of the spirit). Did the agape (love) Jesus has towards them and us start with His earthly Ministry? You got it right (I hope), it started in the counsels of Heaven long before Adam was created in the earth. Adam was of both the stuff (spiritual) of Heaven and the stuff (dust) of the earth.
Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
How did He, Jesus (The Word) love them, love us? To answer that let’s again look at the definition of love, agape, God kind of love which the world is incapable of having. First and foremost, this Godly love (agape) is obedience to the Word of God, it is being selfless, and it is observing of the Blood Covenant. That God was selfless to leave Heaven and come into this cesspool goes without saying. That God Himself, second person of the co-equal Triune God, would leave Heaven and come here is one thing but to come here, be rejected, be beaten, and die on the Cross. And it didn’t stop there, He went into Hell itself to pay our penalty. How can we not fall at His feet day in and day out and thank Him from the bottoms of our hearts? A Messiah was promised to mankind in the Garden of Eden on the Day of Sin and Death and He came. God honored His Word, His expression of love towards mankind. The animal that was killed to cloth Adam and Eve in the garden was the first Passover and covered their sin but a Savior was needed to blot out sin forever. The sacrifice of this innocent animal was this the beginning of the Blood Covenant solidified by Abraham and Isaac on Mount Moriah some 2000 years later to bring the Messiah into the earth. That day at Calvary and the three days to follow finalized this New Blood Covenant for eternity.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
