WILL NOT JUDGE BY THE EYE OR EAR

Greetings precious children of God and welcome back to our study of the wonderful Bible Book of Isaiah. Before we move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the gospel (good news), the Truth. Thank you for sharing, you have a very important role in this Ministry. The featured picture today is of Donna and me at a restaurant. We enjoy home cooked meals but we also enjoy the blessing of a delicious, effort free, meal out.
On July 8, 2008, the Lord gave me the following: “In the presence of sin there is no authority and no Power, but where sin is absent there is all authority and Power in Jesus name.” We have learned from our study in Isaiah that the fear of the Lord is not only a reverence where we honor God far above all others but it is also obedience. These must exist together or we are not walking in the fear of the Lord and we will not see the fruit of walking in the fear of the Lord. Where there is sin there is a lack of reverence or fear of the Lord, there is no faith and no love (agape). Listen to the Master.
John 14:12-15 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
See the linkage of faith (believe on me) and love (keep my commandments) in order to produce the works Jesus did and then the greater works. Sin gums up the works and there will be no manifestation of God, the goodness (glory) of God. We have been given the authority of God and the Power of God but it only operates in the absence of sin, in faith, motivated by love, absent doubt (which is sin), led of the Holy Spirit. Dear ones we are called to walk on a narrow way. We will not see the manifestations of God we say we desire until we get on that narrow way. Now, let’s turn our attention to our main Bible text in the wonderful Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 11:3-5 (KJV)
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
Picking up in verse three we are told that the coming Messiah (Jesus the Christ) will not judge according to outward appearances. Let’s see where this is written elsewhere.
John 5:22 (KJV)
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
John 5:30 (KJV)
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Jesus said, I don’t come to my own conclusions I wait to hear from the Father. I am not looking to do my will but the will of the Father. Can we say the same? Let’s take a look at what the Apostle Paul has to say by the unction of the Holy Spirit on this matter of judging our brother or sister.
2 Corinthians 10:7 (KJV)
7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.
We can never, ever, forget that just as we are Christs so are they. They likewise are in the image and likeness of God. We do not know the light of their, another mans heart, therefore we do not judge (reach a conclusion with a consequence). As I close for today let me point out that as we transition into verse four the topic or focus is shifting to Jacobs sorrows and the subsequent Millennial Reign of Christ.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
