THE GREATER THINGS – PART TWENTY-FOUR

Wow, the year seems to be racing by and the Glory of God surrounds us! If any of us do not see the Glory (goodness of God) in our own lives than we must enquire of the Lord with an open heart. Before moving forward take a moment to share this Bible teaching, these Truths, as widely as possible. Perhaps you are wondering about the picture at the top of these teachings. It is to depict the broken-down status of our society and unfortunately the Church as well. But praise the Lord we are empowered of God to rebuild what we have allowed the devil to tear down. There is a rising remnant who understand who they are in Christ Jesus and will exercise full dominion (authority) backed by the Blessing to bring Heaven to earth once again. By way of a reminder, I am teaching about not only the works Jesus did but the greater works both of which He commanded us to do.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Notice that Jesus is talking to believers, that is all of us dear ones. We all have a tendency to look to someone else to do these things but that is a demonic lie, God is looking to each one of us. Closely study the following passage.
Ephesians 4:11-13 (KJV)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
The works Jesus did are not relegated to the five-fold Ministry people (listed above). Since these people are the Church government, they will be the leaders into not only the things Jesus did but the greater works we are all commanded to be a part. The word “perfecting” in verse twelve above has to do with the maturing or making the saints more complete. The ministry into which we are to mature, become competent in, is the works Jesus did and the greater works. That is not to say that we will be a cookie cutter duplication of each other or for that matter Jesus. The following passage was given as part of the Apostle Paul’s teaching on the nine spiritual gifts but we can draw from the general principals outlined.
1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (KJV)
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
Bottom line, we all need to mature into the image of Christ and do the works He did and move into the greater things. We must see ourselves doing these things for we are well equipped to do exploits on behalf of the Kingdom of God. Are we thinking on doing these things or are we giving some sort of mental assent while thinking we really can’t do the works Jesus did and the greater works? Most of us have never seen nor do we know someone personally, by reputation, or on TV who is doing the works of Jesus and certainly not the greater works. Folks there is a rising remnant who will soon be doing not only the works Jesus did but the greater works. Set your face like flint to be a part of that rising remnant and be a part of ushering in the return (Rapture) of Christ. As I prepare to close for today let’s again turn to Isaiah chapter sixty-one.
Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
