AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH
Sunday – February 14, 2021, Adar 2, 5781
THE GREATER THINGS – PART TWENTY-FIVE
This year is racing by and the Glory of God surrounds us! If any of us do not see the Glory (goodness of God) in our own lives than we must enquire of the Lord with an open heart. Before moving forward take a moment to share this Bible teaching, these Truths, as widely as possible. Perhaps you are wondering about the picture at the top of these teachings. These broken-down buildings depict the broken-down status of our society and unfortunately the Church as well. It is not the will of God that things remain as they have become. It was never the will of God for things to become as they are in the world or especially the Church. But praise the Lord we are empowered of God to rebuild what we have allowed the devil to tear down. As Joshua and Caleb declared concerning entering the Promised Land, we are well able to possess this land. Do we believe that today or do we see the world as having iron chariots and high walls too great for us? Are we then retreating to our Church buildings and homes crying about being grasshoppers in the sight of the world? There is a rising remnant who understand who they are in Christ Jesus and will exercise full dominion (authority) backed by the Blessing to bring Heaven to earth once again. By way of a reminder, I am teaching about not only the works Jesus did but the greater works both of which He commanded us to do.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Hopefully we are all well aware of what Jesus did in His earthly Ministry as an Anointed man. He did not operate as God in the earth, the Scripture is clear that He operated as an Anointed man laying aside the attributes of God. He operated by faith, in love (agape), as led of the Holy Spirit just as we are to operate. For Him to have operated as God in the earth and then tell us to do the same, which would be impossible to us, would be unjust and our God is the epitome (embodiment) of justice.
Luke 7:22 (KJV)
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
The authority of our Eden Mandates is returned to those who believe by the finished work of Jesus at Calvary and beyond as well as the Blessing (Holy Spirit and Power) to accomplish all. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Let’s exchange our carnal thoughts which are death for the life of God’s thoughts! Come on saints (me included) let’s get our faith by confession and exercise (led of the Holy Spirit) where it needs to be and get about the real work of the Kingdom. The people of the body of Christ filled with the Holy Spirit are well able to exercise dominion (authority) in the earth. We have got to quit our patty-cake Church devoid of the Power of God and accompanied with a message to make us all feel at ease with our faithless powerless lives. Remember that faith works (Galatians 5:6) or is powered by love (agape). So, if our faith is weak what does that say about our love? Love (agape) is not a warm fuzzy feeling about God or others, it is obedience to the Word of God, it is a selfless life, and it is adherence to Blood Covenant. We must develop our faith, our love (agape), and our ability to hear the inner witness (Holy Spirit) and in all things be fully aware of what the Truth is on any given matter. Dear ones (including me) we are not even close to where we are supposed to be, thank God for His mercy and patience with us. Now, let’s look once at our Isaiah Bible text.
Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
The Ministry of Jesus included verse one and the first phrase of verse two “To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD”. This is our Ministry as well. This includes all we see in Luke 7:22 above plus speaking to storms, experiencing supernatural translocation, and walking away from trouble untouched. Oh, how far we, the body of Christ, have fallen.

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;

26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
