DESTRUCTION OF THE TRANSGRESSORS
Greetings to all and welcome back to this informative and empowering Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah. A reflection of our time. As we look into their time, we find lessons that will help us avoid our enemies’ deceptions. The key is always to be focused only on the Word of God and run everything through the filter of the Word of God. Not what someone told us it said but what we saw it said with our own eyes by at least two witnesses. Please take a moment to share these teachings daily as widely as possible to let others in on the very best news they will ever hear. The beautiful picture I have featured today was taken following our wedding a little over two years ago. The joy remains, God is so good. As I was fellowshipping with the Lord this morning, He quickened me to talk about Psalm one as a preface or preamble to our study of Isaiah. Today is the fourth day and I will recap and contrast. Hopefully it will be easy for each of us to choose which path we must take. That path is that of the man or woman who delights in the Lord in the Word of the Lord.
Psalm 1:1-4 (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
I don’t want to be destroyed, having a life that reflects the work of the destroyer. Unfortunately, this is rampant in the Church today. Donna and I want and have a life that reflects the Blessing in abundance. I want the world and others in the Church to see Donna and I living an abundant victorious life in righteousness. Yes, the enemy brings the attack but we do not have to take the bait, we resist him and he flees. If others will do what we do, they can have what we have, in Jesus’ name. We want all to see that we live a Godly life clearly different than that of the ungodly. Now, let’s turn our attention to the Isaiah text continuing to read aloud.
Isaiah 1:25-28 (KJV)
25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
Wow, as we pick up with verse twenty-eight it is the same as what we just finished in the first Psalm. Do we suppose God is serious about us being eager to be obedient, to delight in Him, to do things the righteous way? This is not primarily for God, yes, He wants a family, a family about the family business, but it is primarily about us. Like any good Father He wants to see His kids, sons, living just like He lives. Yes, that is possible in the earth, in fact it is commanded of us to bring Heaven to earth in this time. Meditate the following passage from Deuteronomy and then what Jesus said in Matthew.
Deuteronomy 11:18-21 (KJV)
18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
Matthew 6:9-10 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Jesus is commanding us to command the Kingdom of God just as it exists in Heaven to be in the earth. Moses in Deuteronomy spoke of “days of Heaven upon the earth”. Yes, it is possible and will be present before the coming of Christ for those who delight in Him, in His Word and none other. It will be a powerful witness that brings in the final and greatest harvest of persons into the Kingdom of God.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
