A WELL OF TRUTH
IS THERE A KING IN YOU?
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to “A WELL OF TRUTH” which is the Word of God not me. Our God, the one and only Living God is so gracious to make His will known if we will but spend time with Him, and in His Word. Remember what He told Joshua. God is no respecter of persons and what He told Joshua is not a special case but applies to each and every one of us.
Joshua 1:7-9 (KJV)
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Are we willing to do this for our Heavenly Father, our Savior, our Helper or are we slothful, slack, and are settling for a compromised position with the devils? A “I can live with that” idea. I am realizing more and more what a good job the demons have done getting us comfortable with a very fallen cursed state not having a real clue of what the Kingdom of God is supposed to look like in the earth today. We can shout, sing at the top of our lungs, clap, raise our hands, jump, run around, and fall out in the Spirit (all playground activities) but will achieve absolutely nothing for the Kingdom of God until we do the Joshua text. Now, let’s swing back to the title of this teaching; “Is There a King in You?”
Micah 4:9 (KJV)
9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
What do you really believe about yourself? Are we a king or not? The Lord thinks we are kings, under the King of kings. This is Bible, is it True? Who talked us out of it?
Revelation 1:5-6 (KJV)
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Dear ones we are the “kings of the earth” referred to in verse five. “Hath made us kings and priests unto God” is past tense, already done and in context has been true since Calvary, really from before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). Am I, are you, behaving as a king or have we relegated that to the sweet bye and bye like all the other promises (realities for this world) in the Kingdom? Let’s see what the Lord says to us through the Apostle Paul.
Romans 5:17 (KJV)
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
The word ‘reign’ means to rule. Am I ruling, are you ruling, or just going with the flow hoping it doesn’t get too rough? Now, let’s look at it in the Amplified Bible.
Romans 5:17 (AMP)
17 For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
So, what will it be? Will this stir us to action or will we sigh and say something along the lines “that was interesting” and continue as we were?
Lord willing, I will have fresh manna next Sunday.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
