THE LORD STANDS

Greetings precious children of God, sons of God, and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog Anointed of God to empower those with ears to hear. Please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the good news. The featured picture today was provided by one of our readers but I did not make a notation so as to accurately disclose. Some of you will recall that a short time back the Lord challenged me in a time of fellowship with this statement; “Reluctant to challenge our paradigm”. If what we are doing, that is thinking, saying, and doing, is not producing a life of spiritual and physical abundance we need to challenge what we believe. Is what I believe true or do I just think it is true because that is what I was taught and everyone around me says it is true. Let us be good Berean’s.
Acts 17:11 (KJV)
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
The people of Berea received the teachings of the Apostle Paul and Silas with “readiness of mind” however they went home and searched to Scripture to prove it. They searched for at least one other witness.
Matthew 18:16 (KJV)
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
This verse is referring to a specific issue but the principle remains that “every word may be established” “in the mouth of two or three witnesses”. What we are doing for the most part is not working so let’s examine ourselves with help of the Holy Spirit and change what needs to be changed that we can be about the Kingdoms business in full effectiveness. We are commanded by the Master Himself to do the works He did and greater works. Let us throw aside the powerless traditions of men and the doctrines of devils and do the works of Jesus and the greater works. This message is for us all. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and continue reading aloud, yes, out loud.
Isaiah 3:12-15 (KJV)
12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
Our God is ever so merciful whether we are talking Old or New Testament. Our God does not change, has not changed ever. The Lord will plead with us for sometimes long (years to decades) periods of time to correct our course but sooner or later another part of His character must kick in which is justice. Sooner or later a judgment will be rendered. Our Heavenly Father is no respecter of persons so it can’t be one level of justice for one and a different level for another. We see in verse thirteen of our primary Bible text that He pleads and then He judges or we might say passes judgment that is to declare the outcome of our thoughts, words, and actions. God is very merciful and patient. I for one am thankful that He is merciful and patient, but I am also thankful that He is just. He knows the heart and can therefore judge justly which is the main reason we are not to judge in terms of declaring an outcome for another person.
Psalm 89:14 (KJV)
14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
The word “judgment” in Psalm 89:14 has to do with declaring a verdict, “justice” has to do with being consistent, even handed we might say. Our God is merciful and the foundation of justice, judgment and mercy is Truth (Word of God). Now, back to Isaiah chapter three.
Isaiah 3:14 (KJV)
14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
The older ones (elders) and the leaders in the Church are judged first for they bear the responsibility for the congregation. The ancients are the elders and the princes are the rulers, leaders like the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher. In verse fourteen we see that the Lord is really fed up with those in leadership who just drain the congregation. As I close for today let’s look briefly at verse fifteen.
Isaiah 3:15 (KJV)
15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
The errors of the elders and rulers has “beat the people to pieces”. If we are walking in error the enemy has an open door to come in to steal, kill, and destroy.
Tomorrow is Yom Kippur but Lord willing I will return to Isaiah on Thursday.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
