AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

HELLS MOUTH IS OPEN
Greeting dear and precious children of God, Grace and Blessing be multiplied unto you as you receive and implement your knowledge of God the Father and of the Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome back to this empowering study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Before we move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible. The featured picture today is graciously provided by our good friend and man of God, Joe Getchell Jr. I know I have said this many times, but God here and in the vast majority of the Bible is talking to His people not the devil’s people. Now let’s go ahead and read our primary Bible text aloud, yes, out loud.
Isaiah 5:13-16 (KJV)
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
As we slip away from God by the devils’ deceptions we slip away from liberty to captivity. The Anointing of God makes the captive free. Listen to these two familiar verses.
Isaiah 10:27 (KJV)
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
It is the Anointing, the Anointing of God that shatters the yokes we allowed Satan and lifts the burdens we allowed Satan to place on us. Satan cannot place a yoke or burden on us without our permission. God certainly has the power to make us do anything but He will not for it would violate spiritual law. God created us with a freewill and gave us dominion in the earth, we are 100% in charge of what happens to us. In our study of Isaiah and many other places we see that Gods’ people freely choose righteousness or unrighteousness. The choice frequently flows behind whomever they have chosen as their leader. None the less it is a freewill choice for even our leaders cannot force us to choose unrighteousness. Think about Daniel and the three Hebrew children.
Isaiah 61:1 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
We recognize this as the Scripture that Jesus read in the Synagogue at the very front end of His Ministry. Jesus had just come from the Jordan River where He was baptized by John the Baptist and received the Anointing for His earthly Ministry which includes the works mentioned in this verse. We also having the same Anointing are to be doing likewise. Part of our job is to keep people out of Hell and from going into captivity to the demons. These people sing about being free in Christ, proclaim Jesus as Lord, and are on their way to Heaven but their life manifests the curse and spiritual famine. Deceived people don’t know they are deceived. We all must be sober and vigilant, have intercessors in our lives, and be willing to listen to the counsel of others.
1 Peter 5:5-9 (KJV)
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
The Apostle Peter tells us to submit to the elders, submit or prefer one another, walk in humility, and be submitted to the Holy Spirit (Hand of God). We are to focus on the Kingdom of God casting the cares of our natural life on Him. We are to remain sober and vigilant refusing to give the devil permission (notice the word ‘may’ in verse eight) to devour us. Finally, we must be steadfast in trusting God, trusting His Word. Remember, Eve was not steadfast in believing the Word of God and traded Gods’ Words in so to speak for the lies of the devil that sounded better. In this way Hells mouth is opened to others and perhaps even to us. The way of the Spirit is life and peace, the way of the carnal (devils’ deceptions) is death (Romans 8:6).

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
