ROARING LIKE A LION

Greetings dear and precious saints of the only Living God and welcome to this exciting Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah. Isn’t our God just so wonderful!? Yes, He is! Please take a moment as we move forward to share these teachings as widely as you possibly can. This is good news, there is no “good news” that even starts to compare to Scripture. The featured picture today is of my beautiful wife, Donna, and me at one of our favorite eating establishments in Maine, Archer’s on the Pier in Rockland. If we get back to Maine for a visit next summer (2022) this will be on our list of stops.
This week as a preamble or lead into our main study I have been talking about what some might think was little or even mistake for the Truth can stop the Blessing, our victory. This is partially true for the average Christian does not seem to value their words. Another aspect is that we tend to partition our lives into God (prayer, study, Church) and other partitioned parts of our life like work, family life, etc. The Truth of the matter is that we either have a Kingdom of God life or a kingdom of darkness life. We can be in the Kingdom of God, on our way to Heaven, thinking we are in the will of God, and be walking in dense darkness. Many times, it is the little things, the little foxes spoiling our fruit or vineyard. We wonder why we have not moved forward to walk in all the Scripture promises and God has provided. Commonly we have been deceived to think it is for another time or place, or believe a lie. Lies are rampant in the Church. I am not saying that people (leadership) are purposefully lying but they have bought the lie of devils and repeat it, teach it, as Truth. Prove all things little ones by at least two Scripture witnesses. All of us want to rightly divide the Word but dear ones that requires effort on our part.
2 Timothy 2:15-16 (KJV)
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
Many times, I notice that the Church looks at Scripture as a one-sided coin but it is not one sided but two sided, a double-edged sword. For example, yesterday I presented the Scripture of the mustard seed (Matthew 13:32) representing faith and how it would nourish many. The other side of that coin is that unbelief or a wrong belief will bring the curse to many. Listen to the following Scripture and see both edges of the Sword (Word).
Isaiah 1:19-20 (KJV)
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Many times, our refusing and rebelling is not active against the Truth but ignorance due to slothfulness or alternately believing a doctrine of demons. Now let’s go briefly to what I hope is very familiar Scripture to every reader.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (KJV)
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
The other side of the coin.
Deuteronomy 28:14-15 (KJV)
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Which is ongoing in your life, my life? I realize I have used up our space and time with a Truth which is not our main lesson however I believe the Lord wanted this brought forward this week for both of us. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read aloud, yes, out loud.
Isaiah 5:27-30 (KJV)
27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
29 Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
Lions are fearless and roar without restraint and are intimidated by nothing. What about you and me? In what day, the day of the “ensign” the day of the Lord, the day in which we now are entering and the days to follow. Can you see darkness in the land? Can you see that even the light seems darkened somehow? There is corruption in the Church, in the word preached in the Church but let me tell you little one’s purity is coming and is already at hand. Those who will prepare are about to experience and see things they have only imagined, read about in Scripture or read about in other places at other times (like Azusa Street). Finally, are you prepared, am I prepared, to be that servant of the Lord and of our fellow man who will exemplify the Scripture above or have we chosen to continue slumbering?
Lord willing, I will pick up with Chapter Six of Isaiah next week and keep plowing forward. There is much for us to learn and implement.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
